A proposito di questa casa struttura in affitto
The cottage is our family's home away from home. We hope you fall in love with it as much as we have. As a family of 6 it fits us perfectly with a little room to spare. It is a special place that will call you back; you can feel the love!
We chose Charlevoix as our second home because we felt it is a perfect blend of all you could want: beauty, nature, fun, relaxation and Charlevoix is close to other destinations like Traverse City, Petoskey, Boyne City and Mackinac. From strolling the downtown shops, browsing an art fair or festival, walking to the lighthouse, taking a sunset cruise on the one of many charters, getting lost in the town's magnificent library, rock hunting, exploring the fall colors or winter sports, there is something for everyone nearby.
We have all that you need and more at the cottage, we tried to keep it as welcoming, true and authentic as a Michigan cottage could be. We have a 40" HDTV with a blu-ray DVD, Bose speakers and high speed wireless internet for those that need to stay connected. We also offer a gas Weber grill and patio set in the backyard. You get access to our paddle board. Scattered throughout is artwork produced by our daughters and art handed down from our family. We ask you to explore and also respect our home as these things are dear to us.
The house is around 1400 sq ft. There are 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. One bedroom has a new Tempurpedic mattress. The second bedroom has a new full pillow-top mattress and the third bedroom is an open loft space (no door, between the other bedrooms) with 2 comfortable bunk beds (yes suitable for adults!).

We loved our stay in the Charlevoix house, it was clean and beautifully decorated. It felt like we were staying in a little European cottage. It was furnished with everything we needed. The location was perfect, a block from Lake Michigan and an easy walk to shops and restaurants downtown. We spent most of our time walking on the beach or on the National Park trails right off the beach. We saw the famous mushroom houses and took a day trip to Mackinac Island. We’d love to come back in the future and bring our kids.

Very nice property on a quiet street. It is an easy half mile walk to downtown Charlevoix and has easy access to a public beach. It has a very cozy living room at the front of the house with a gas stove and a separate tv room in the back of the house. There is a washer and dryer in that room. There are two bedrooms upstairs with an open space with four bunk beds between them. The back bedroom and bed are a bit smaller than the master bedroom, but both beds are very comfortable. The middle area with the bunkbeds has a sound machine which helps mute sound coming from other parts of the house if the bunkbed dwellers go to bed earlier. There is a half bathroom downstairs with a full bathroom (shower only) upstairs. The kitchen is small with an electric stove and toaster oven. There are plenty of plates, mugs and cutlery. There is a Keurig machine with plenty of pods as well as a drip coffee maker and a grinder. Pots and pans are pretty minimal and on the old side so if you want to cook you might want to pack those. We ate out most nights though.

We had a great time at the cottage! Everything was there that we needed and then some. Location was convenient to town, to the Lake Michigan beach, walking trails and wineries. The area is beautiful and in a quiet neighborhood. Great place to bring bikes. Beds were comfortable however bunk beds are not meant for adults. I have stayed in others rentals owned by our host and always have a wonderful experience.
