The apartment in the former mill estate Georgsmühle is located in the Southern Eifel Nature Park on the outskirts of Ralingen an der Sauer, in the immediate vicinity of the Luxembourg border town of Rosport.
Our cozy, well-kept non-smoking apartment is 104 square meters and offers a very well-equipped kitchen with direct access to the south-facing terrace, 2 bedrooms with double bed, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, living room with 2 sleeping options and a billiard room with fireplace, a large bathroom with bathtub and shower. the apartment also has a guest toilet
You live in a quiet sunny location with parking at the house. Free WiFi, TV, towels and bed linen.

Experience nature and culture in the Southern Eifel Nature Park, for this the apartment is the ideal starting point! An extensive network of hiking and biking trails opens up the unique surroundings - the valleys of Sauer, Kyll, Prüm and Nimms, the adventurous sandstone rock landscape of the Ferschweiler plateau and Luxembourg's Little Switzerland. Hike from the Teufelsschlucht to the Irreler waterfalls or through the Butzerbach valley, discover rare animal and plant species, get to know the numerous cultural treasures of the region, Roman villas, castles and baroque castles. The Roman city of Trier, the Luxembourg border town of Echternach, just 11 km away, and the capital, Luxembourg, are worthwhile destinations.
Trier with its diverse sights can be reached in 20 - 30 minutes and Bitburg as well. Luxembourg City can be reached in 40 minutes.
In the adjacent Rosport there is a wonderful adventure playground on the Ralinger reservoir. There is also the possibility of water skiing in the summer months. Canoe tours on the Sauer are a very special experience.
As a border river, the Sauer also offers the opportunity to fish.
In our hunting areas, hunters can hunt by arrangement.
A visit to the dinosaur park and the Teufelsschlucht nature park center is recommended. Various hiking trails invite you to trekking tours in the nearby Mullertal region in Luxembourg.
Uniquely landscaped and beautifully situated, there are many leisure options here.
Excursions to the Moselle and a visit to the summer toboggan run in Riol with evening wine tasting at the winegrower could round off your vacation.
Since there is no shopping facility in Ralingen, purchases should be planned well. In the neighboring towns you will find very good shopping opportunities.

Renting this property as a couple with a young dog provided us with a lot of space indeed. The kitchen offers a lot of space but is still cosy when using it with two persons. Working space is more than adequate and the kitchen contains every device you could possibly need.
The lower floor is very cool and provided us with excellent "hiding" from a heatwave with outside temperature up to 37 degrees.
One of the other reviewers remarked on the somewhat odd location of the pooltable and I agree on that but that is a matter of taste.
The bedrooms are fine and the large double bed we used was excellent. Bathroom is very beautifully decorated and complete and the shower functions very good.
The reason for giving 4 out of 5 stars for the surroundings is only due to a lack of hiking tracks in the direct vicinity. If you don't mind that and take a car for the next hike, there is no problem at all. This is very subjective anyhow and we just liked the Jura a bit more.
On arrival we found a bottle of sent and slot of fruit waiting for us. Moreover the owners are so kind to supply a large amount of "ingredients" you need for daily life like all kinds of vinigar, oil, spices, coffee, tea etc etc so you can start cooking right away.
The same holds for all stuff related to cleaning and washing.
In other words there was nothing left to wish for.

The apartment is in a valley away from the road. The apartment is part of a larger building. You are not all by yourself. The view is great. Green all the way. The apartment is complete. The only thing which was not correct with the description was that there was supposed to be a DVD player. There wasn't. Welcome is great as you get fresh fruit, wine (local) and 2 products from the owners as they have a butcher shop with meat from deer and boar.
