The apartment is located in a wonderfully modernized house in a popular historical location in Berlin's Prenzlauer Berg. In the immediate vicinity are trendy restaurants, bars, pubs, shops for daily needs.
24-hour supermarket right across the street!
The Schönhauser Arkaden and a cinema are 3-5 minutes away on foot. But also the Max-Schmeling-Halle, the Kultur Brewery, the Pfefferberg or the Kollwitz Platz can be reached in a few minutes on foot.
S-Bahn stations on lines 4, 8 and 85 are around 150 meters away
Subway line U2 and also tram stop Metro Tram M1.
With the underground line U2 you can reach all important and for without changing trains
Tourists visiting the interesting places of Berlin, like Alexander Platz (only 4 stops)
Hackescher Markt, Potsdamer Platz, Wittenberg Platz (KaDeWe visit is a must!) and from there the wonderful Kurfürstendamm.
The apartment is on the ground floor, quiet to the courtyard. There are two entrances: from Greifenhagener Straße 62 or via the courtyard from the famous Schönhauser Allee 63. Also highly recommended for families with small children, since both entrances that lead over the courtyard are closed, on which there is a beautiful children's playground. There are also many large playgrounds nearby.
The apartment is 61 square meters, has 3 rooms: (2 bedrooms + living room with sleeping accommodation) with kitchen, bathroom, corridor and a cozy terrace. Occupancy up to 6 people. So that you do not lack anything during your stay, this is completely comfortable and modern equipped TV, HiFi system, from the ironing board to the wine glasses.
We have all of them so that you can prepare your favorite dishes

Coffee machine, kettle, toaster, blender, cutlery, dishes ...

An older style apartment, in a good location. An unattractive entrance to the block of apartments, and if the bedrooms had been furnished with matching bedding/linen it would have felt more welcoming. Things like an older ladder next to the wardrobe and the vaccum cleaner behind the bedroom door, didn't impress our friend. The bathroom is off the kitchen, which was a little strange, but an old style East German apartment I guess. The beds were good, as we slept well, and the apartment was quiet.

Conversation with Marc was very good...he was very flexible with check-in/check-out times. Marc met me at the apartment without any problems (I only had email access while traveling and he was very responsive with a quick turnaround). He seems to be a very kind and generous person. The apartment is quite spacious and is described appropriately. It is little worn around the edges, but very clean and comfortable. The bathroom is not large, but I think that is standard in Europe, and it has a full tub, which is not as common. The apartment is very quiet; we left the windows open all night and were not woken up by any loud noises. It is in a building with a series of courtyards, so it is closed off from the busy outside street. The location was excellent, near many restaurants (we loved Mr. Le and the Prater Beer Garden, and there is a ton of other options within a short stroll), transportation (the M1 is an easy ride to Hackesher Market, the U2 to all of Berlin's top sites), and grocery (there's a Reve across the street). I would absolutely stay here again and I think the price per night is quite fair. Overall, a great experience that I highly recommend.
