This is the Perfect place for a couple or a small family w children
Queen Bedroom:
A Bright spacious Queen Bedroom,
it is very comfortable, clean and cool with Fans and air-conditioning for the perfect nights sleep.
A ensuite bathroom with shower and toilet.
Kitchen Area:
The beachy feel alfresco dining area complete with microwave, kettle, toaster, induction cooker.
Pop outside to the garden and there is another outdoor area to dine or chillax.
A favorite of our guests: swinging and dreaming in the hammock.
Lounge Room:
In a separate room you find a comfortable lounge with a little library of books to help you unplug and truly relax.
1 small double pull out bed which is - best for children ( 2 yrs to 12 years old).
The lounge room is fully air-conditioned and a fan.
Self contained:
✓ Full sized Fridge to keep those drinkies and nibbles cool
✓Proper washing machine so you can pack light
Entertainment:
Footsteps from the most beautiful beach, a place where you can dine at a finer seaside restaurant or choose fish n chips on the beach watching the sunset.
Need Watersports? At your doorstep
Diving the Great Barrier Reef,Jetskis, Boat Trips, Fishing, Paddle Boarding, Kayaking something for everyone.
Looking for Self Love and reflection there are plenty of Yoga, Meditation, Paint Classes and Dance Classes.

It's all about the Wildlife, we have roaming koalas in the wild, bouncing wallabies and so many beautiful birds
Then the jewel the famous Great Barrier Reef go see the wonders of the underwater world, turtles, coral, reefs abundant with fish.

Lovely place right near horseshoe bay. Beautiful relaxing environment and the right size for a small family like us. Had everything we needed. Hosts were just so lovely and welcoming and had amazing tips on how to make the most of the island. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back and stay at this gem. Thanks Tee and Steve.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Gatehouse in Horseshoe Bay. It’s a charming, peaceful spot just steps from the beach. The house has two bedrooms—a queen and a room with two singles plus a cozy sofa area—air conditioning, a well-equipped kitchen, BBQ, and dining space for four. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and gave us great tips about the island. Restaurants and cafes are nearby, and the bus makes exploring easy without a car. We had a wonderful time and would love to return!

The property is beautiful and well located although a little more than "footsteps" to the beach, it's a nice flat 5 min walk. We were comfortable at all times. Our host was super friendly and very helpful including services above and beyond expectations. We couldn't find the BBQ on the premises but there was one about 5 mins walk away.
