Welcome to Brown Bunny B&B and Bakery! A cozy and inviting Retreat in charming Palmetto, FL. It is nestled in an historic home on stunningly spacious grounds. Our beautifully appointed bedroom offers a private sanctuary with an ensuite bath, ensuring your comfort and privacy during your stay. Daily Check-in: 4 pm - 9 pm. *** A Note for Our Furry Friends: A friendly, young kitty resides on the property in a separate wing with the host/owner, who lives on the premises. While your room is meticulously clean, guests with allergies may want to consider other beautiful accommodations nearby.

Reason ONE: Delightful Aromas: Enjoy the tantalizing scents of freshly baked bread and cookies consisting of cinnamon and vanilla wafting from our dedicated gluten-free bakery. *^Please understand that our cottage food business kitchen is OFF LIMITS to our guests because it is a dedicated facility for our bakery customers.
Reason TWO: Comfort and Convenience: Each room is equipped with a dresser, ceiling fan, mini fridge, microwave, Smart TV, electric kettle, coffee press or coffee maker, hairdryer, iron, closet, full-length mirror, and a secured door lock for your privacy. The room has low-pile carpet and located on one level.
Reason THREE: Clean and Fresh: Our home features a whole-house water filtration system and air filtration, ensuring that you enjoy soft, warm showers and breathe in the freshest air. The washer and dryer are available with clean laundry detergent provided. Please do not use your own detergent. Thank you.
Reason FOUR: Relaxing Spaces: Unwind on our covered outdoor back deck or in our inviting common areas, perfect for reading, playing board games, or sharing meals with friends and family.
Important Details:
Check-in & Check-out: Arrive between 4 PM-9 PM and Depart by 10 AM.
Safety and Accessibility: Please note that the house is not wheelchair accessible. There are only 3 steps at the entrance. Upon arrival, you will receive a door code and a short waiver to sign. Once you receive the code, you are free to come and go as you please. The property is well lit. For Your Safety— smoking in, on, or around the premises, candles, guns, and ammunition are NOT permitted at this historic wooden home.
Fragrance-Free Environment: To maintain a chemical-free space, we kindly ask guests to AVOID using aerosol sprays, colognes, perfumes, lotions, or other scented body products. Many people are sensitive to chemicals. Thank you for your understanding.
Shoes Policy: To keep our home spotless, please remove your shoes upon entry inside the house.

This property gave us everything we needed for our long weekend visiting our daughter. We needed a bed, shower, and convenient location. Brown Bunny is super clean and the bed is comfortable. We only spent sleep time here, so it was perfect. The host was there to meet us when we got there; she gave us all the scoop about the property, and was very friendly, but after that, we had the privacy we needed.

Our room was extremely clean and accommodating for our two night stay, and our hostess, Geena helped to make our stay even better.

The place was very clean, and Geena was very pleasant. I kinda surprised of the slip and fall agreement that we had to sign. And having to be fragrance free while we stayed there. Which we understand but we really wished that there were a couple of chairs on the room to sit on. Sitting on the bed all the time isn’t very comfortable for us senior citizens. The exhaust fan in the bathroom doesn’t work so it made it kinda uncomfortable when showering. Removal of your shoes outside the door was a little bit too much but we did what was necessary to make it work.
