Perfect for tourism, a few steps away from the metro / tram / bus, enjoy the eccentricity and genuine Lisbon lifestyle of this trendy neighborhood! It has an edge that appeals to designers, musicians and artists. It also has many of the coolest bars and cafes of the city. You'll find plenty of skaters and street artists hanging around or practicing at the main square, which is often a stage for dance groups to perform and other random moments. Make sure to check out The Portuguese Life, said to be the most beautiful shop in Lisbon. It will provide you with a world of traditional Portuguese products and art, and at the hip house you will dance the night away to the sound of local artists or enjoy a drink with live music any day of the week. You'll also love the charming vintage shops and Lisbon's famous flea market which covers several blocks. We really enjoyed our 10 days in Lisbon and the apartment added to everything. Everything was very clean and in nice condition and the owners and their cleaning lady were all very nice and easy to work with. The kitchen had all that we needed and the bed was comfortable (although a bit small for someone used to a king size). The WiFi worked quite well as did all the appliances and the tv. Nice bathroom but not overly large. It is on the fourth floor and the steps are the only way up so be aware if you’re not up to the climb. Although it didn’t affect us during April, the lack of air conditioning could be a factor in the summer months. Also, We felt the apartment’s rate was very fair and a good value. We would definitely rent the place again.

The picture to the lift of this form is not the apartment we stayed in. The apartment was adequate. Not nearly as nice as the picture shown on the left. Anyone who books this apartment need to know that there are 64 steps up with no lift. This was not made clear in the description.
