Our family recently enjoyed a week at this property. Everything was as described. We loved the view of the waterway and the walk to the beach wasn’t too long. We brought our wagon to make that a little easier with all our kids stuff. And one of the accesses is step free so we were able to pull it right over. The kitchen was well stocked. And our boys were overjoyed to find Xbox set up for use!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Holden at this must be the place. We were able to relax and recharge. You have the beauty of the marsh as well as sounds of the ocean .Everything was clean and the house is perfect for a beach rental . It has everything you need . We had a long drive from home so I had groceries delivered from Walmart in Shallotte and was able to cook and grill most nights . There are plenty of spices available for cooking . We went out to eat a couple of nights too .The house is spacious and comfy, and the kids enjoyed having tvs in their rooms at night when it was time to chill out . Enjoyed sitting on the front porch relaxing at night . The best part of the house is the pool. It is clean and refreshing. We did not need to heat the pool but it was also late June .The beach is only a short walk. Michael was a great landlord and responded quickly to any questions . I would highly recommend this house if you are looking for a rental for a week at Holden . My kids 12 and 14 had their scooters and electric bikes and had a blast riding in the evenings to the ice cream shop . I would’ve stayed two weeks if we could!
