Located on a plot of 1000 M2, the house is an old farmhouse completely renovated in 2016 with quality materials. It is classified 3 stars by a recognized tourist organization.
His living room facing south-southwest, tastefully decorated to make your stay both warm and friendly. Its large area (45 M2) can gather with family or friends without feeling cramped. Everyone can also have their privacy in rooms with sober and relaxing decor. The two large bedrooms have a bathroom, the other an Italian shower room and the two bedrooms with pull-out beds have a shower room with Italian shower also. Especially well-insulated, well exposed and heated by the ground this home is as pleasant in winter than in summer. A terrace with double exposure will allow you to make the most of the sunshine.
The house is located 100 meters from the small bay of "Cul de loup" famous for its hull fishing and its magnificent view of the Fort de la Hougue (Vauban Tower World Heritage Site). It also provides access to a coastal path that offers beautiful hikes. Finally it will delight lovers of nature and seaside still authentic.
The colors of the sky always changing in this part of Normandy will allow you to make beautiful photos.

€ 1 per set of bed and € 5 per set of toiletries

We had an amazing time staying in this beautiful home. The size was perfect and we loved how close it was to the village and sea. The location made our trip to France the best it could have been while visiting all the D Day celebrations. We loved returning in the evening to the full kitchen, wonderful deck and yard.

Four guys staying for D-Day 75 Commemerations.
Ideal house as had four separate bedrooms, one double with e/s shower, two single/twins with jack-and-jill shower room, and a further double room. There was also a family bathroom and two separate toilets (i.e. not in the bath/shower rooms). It was very clean and tidy when we arrived (and when we left!)
Kitchen well equipped with plenty of pans, crockery, cutlery etc but few large (beer!) glasses, although we did find four picnic ones that did the job.
There's an oven, microwave, decent size fridge/freezer and two coffee machines (one pod, one filter).
The dining table will seat 10, and the sofas 3 each (4 if they are petite).
Location wise, its about 40 mins from Cherbourg, 30 from St Mere Eglise or Valognes, and about 90 mins from Caen.
St Vaast itself is a lovely little fishing 'port' with loads of restaurants and tourist shops. There is a Carrefour and a Netto just round the corner from the cottage, and a petrol station.
We found a nice little restaurant (L'Intemporel) in Montebourg (10k away - ish) where we ate for three of our five nights (very nice burgers, and an extensive ice cream menu. Also, it sold beer).
Overall, a lovely base for our extended weekend and would gladly stay there again.

Fantastic house with good space, lots of windows and good sleeping rooms. 2 toilets and 3 showers & badtub.
Well equiped kitchen and very cosy atmosphere.
Less than 5 minutes drive to new supermarket and just as close to very nice town with good restaurants. Within reasonable distance from all the WO2 beaches, monuments and museums.
Absolutely recommendable!
