It has an edge that appeals to designers, musicians and artists. It also has many of the coolest bars and cafes of the city. You'll find plenty of skaters and street artists hanging around or practicing at the main square, which is often a stage for dance groups to perform and other random moments. Make sure to check out The Portuguese Life, said to be the most beautiful shop in Lisbon. It will provide you with a world of traditional Portuguese products and art, and at the hip house you will dance the night away to the sound of local artists or enjoy a drink with live music any day of the week. You'll also love the charming vintage shops and Lisbon's famous flea market which covers several blocks. so quite at night, you think you are in the country. It is at the back of the building, so no street noise. Excellent service by owners and staff. Very clean and all you need to cook. But with the Capri and the great Chinese place ten steps away....no need to. A few more steps and at the Metro station or just walk 10 blocks to the main square. And no hills here! Loved it and WILL come back asap. Thanks guys for all the extra help, Rick

This was probably the best experience I've had in LA. Aleem was very responsive and made the trip comfortable every step of the way (from booking, check in and throughout my stay).

The photos that you see of the apartment are in fact photos of three or four apts. When you get there you will be socked to see that what you expected is very different from what you got in terms of accommodation. The apts are well decorated but some are very small and the one we got only had one window overlooking the backs of other apts. You will also have to carry your luggage three flights up - and consider that the ceiling are about 12ft high. However, the located is very good. VRBO should not allow owner to post visuals that are not of the apt you get.
