The School House Inn is a spacious and comfortable two-story home perfect for relaxing or reconnecting with family and friends. Whether you are hosting a celebration, gathering with friends and family, spending time outdoors, attending a wedding or just looking for some tranquil time to yourself, you are sure to enjoy this property!
Erected in 1937, this large brick building has served as the Eau Galle School and the Eau Galle Civic Center leaving lots of room indoors and outdoors.
This stylish and newly remodeled building has 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and sleeps up to 18 guests on new and comfortable beds and linens. The kitchen is fully stocked, includes coffee, tea, and basic cooking supplies such as oil and spices. There are two refrigerators for extra storage and newer appliances for all your cooking needs. The dining table seats up to 10 guests, and extra fold-up tables and chairs are provided. The bathrooms are also fully stocked with essentials such as body wash, shampoo and conditioner and new towels, while the laundry room has a newer washer and dryer, iron and steamer for your convenience. New smart tv’s with streaming service options and free Wi-Fi in every bedroom, living room and game room! You can relax in front of the electric fireplace or in the 27-jet spa tub. The game room is sure to provide hours of fun with a dart board, pool table, ping pong table, foosball and air hockey table!
For our outdoor enthusiast we also have a paddle boat, 2 kayaks, outdoor games, fire pit (fire wood not always provided), picnic tables, grills and lawn chairs. Life jackets must be worn when using the paddle boat and kayaks, and the guest is responsible for their transport. We do have a couple life jackets available. Children must be supervised at all times.
Located next to the Eau Galle Lake in Dunn county, this property is minutes away from Pepin, Buffalo, Pierce and Eau Claire Counties. With numerous lakes and rivers nearby, the Chippewa River and Mississippi River are not too far away! No matter the season, this area is perfect for the outdoor enthusiast who loves hunting, fishing, swimming, boating, sight-seeing, birdwatching, snowmobiling, ATV riding, hiking and biking.

Very unique place to stay. Was perfect for our yearly extended family vacation. Great fishing at the near by lake (3 min walk) And plenty of things to do within a 20-30 minute drive. Was clean and cool on such a hot weekend. Plenty of space to spread out. The game room was a hit with the kids!

The lock for the hallway bathroom door was broken. The one thing we were disappointed about was there was no way to really transport the paddle boat and kayaks to the lake from the garage due to the distance and weight of them. Also, a beach was referenced 2 miles away but it was not really acceptable for our needs. Overall, the host communicated very well with us and was responsive and we enjoyed our stay. We would have liked to have a dishwasher too due to the amount of guests.
