Enjoy a full, modern house near the Missouri River and Katy Trail that is located in one of the most beautiful and historic small towns in Missouri. Ranked one of the 10 best small towns in America by the Smithsonian!
Get out and travel locally and visit this scenic, historic getaway that your entire family will enjoy! Why fight crowds and congestion when you can relax the day away in one of Missouri's most historic and photographed towns. Enjoy a bike ride (don't worry, you can rent one!) on the Katy Trail, have lunch on the bluffs, then spend your afternoon touring the Depot or downtown area -- but don't forget about cocktails at the Hotel Fredrick in the evening on the patio overlooking the river! Then it's off for an amazing dinner at the Palace -- and that is just day one!
Don't fight the madness of Columbia, instead stay where numerous magazines and travel websites have said is the hidden gem of small towns. You'll have access to the entire house, including 3 bedrooms (3 Queen beds) as well as family room with foosball table, pull out sofa and 2 couches , living room with 2 couches, dining room, kitchen with everything you need to create your own culinary masterpieces should you desire, laundry room and 3 baths. There is also a back deck with screened in porch plus BBQ grill!
We do our best to keep the house stocked with everything you need so you need to bring nothing - just yourself (and, well, probably some clothes!). We also provide a information area that will also present you with maps of the area, things to do and more. If we are missing something , just let us know and we'll get it!
Free high speed (100mbps) wireless internet is provided, and you'll also enjoy access to Netflix and other streaming television services.
The Katy trail is one block away, the Isle of Capri casino is one block away, downtown Boonville is less than 1/2 mile away and the Missouri river is less than a block away! Harley Park (be sure to visit the lookout!) with full facilities is located 2 blocks away as well! You don't get any more convenient than this!

The owner was very responsive with questions, let us know about a problem that came up and when it was fixed. House was very well stocked with everything that we could have wanted to make ourselves at home. Very roomy. I would highly recommend this place and we are hoping to return in the future.

This house is one of a kind! Artistically decorated - it has the WOW factor. I wanted to give it 5 Stars, however . . . the description in VRBO states it is one block away from the Katy Trail, one block away from the Casino, and one block away from the Missouri River. This is all no longer true as a new house and heavy tree growth have blocked a shortcut. It is 3 blocks of hilly roadway to get to any of these locations. We booked based on the erroneous descriptions. The house is too large for 2 people, but the location sounded great Owner said he would update the listing in VRBO, but to date this has not happened. Communication with the owner was disappointing. My first comments thru the VRBO app were answered two days later, and my second response/comments has not been answered five days and counting. One thing we REALLY liked was the spacious double car garage for both car and the bikes. The microwave is too large for the space it's in, has no lights on underside, and the range knobs are tucked back under and hard to read - we had to use a flashlight. The kitchen table is a nice 54" square (diff than pic). Cookware available is staggering. Carpeting needs a good cleaning. Nice amenities/spaces throughout for groups of people.

Very welcoming property. The kitchen was SO WELL STOCKED. Roomy, clean seasonal decor, games in the closet. Generous with bedding and toiletries; towels, etc.3 adults , 3 kids 10,9,6. Riding Katy trail.
