—you can arrive safely by car or motorcycle; there is a separate, private entrance, as well as parking inside the private villa, and, if needed, covered parking (in the garage) is also available—free of charge, of course.

Magnificent view of the sea along the Sorrento Coast and the island of Ischia; the house is oriented so you can be enchanted by watching the sun dip into the sea near the island of Ischia at sunset. From the large kitchen, the living room, the bedroom, and the large terrace, the sea view is guaranteed!

A large panoramic pool is right next door, and within a few minutes you can reach other restaurants and trattorias as well as grocery stores, butcher shops, fabric stores, etc.
Just a few kilometers (3 km) from the center of Vico Equense and thus in the heart of the Sorrento and Amalfi coasts, and a short distance from the archaeological sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum. The house is surrounded by lush green hills and features a large garden where you can truly enjoy your vacation in complete tranquility. You’re in the hills, where in just 10 minutes you can reach the magnificent beaches of Vico Equense, Seiano, and the entire Sorrento Coast, and in another 10 minutes you can reach Monte Faito, a beautiful peak at an altitude of 1,100 meters where you can go on wonderful hikes and suddenly find yourself looking out over the entire Sorrento Coast from 1,000 meters up—a breathtaking and surreal panorama!!! The mountain is equipped for horseback riding; there’s also a sports center with swimming pools, as well as bars and restaurants.

The host, Raffaele and his wife met us upon arrival to assist with our luggage and to see the rental. It is beautiful !There was fresh fruit, flowers, and snacks to greet us after a long journey, and fresh picked lemons from behind the house, which we made lemonade out of. This apartment is modern, very spacious, and has everything you need for a short or long stay. The kitchen has ample cooking and dining supplies. We like to cook and had everything we needed, including spices. The views from the windows and the roof are spectacular all day, but the sunsets are absolutely amazing. There are restaurants and grocery stores you can walk to, but bring comfortable shoes. The roads can be steep, but the walk is good. The host will tell you to rent a small car as the roads are quite narrow. There is a parking space for a small car. We rented a medium size car, and even though it would fit (too tight for us), parking it below and having Raffaele take us to and from the vehicle was the best way to go. Raffaele is very responsive, typically responding within minute to questions or concerns. Very quiet area. Heat and air conditioning is perfect. We truly enjoyed our family stay here, and will visit again, only with a smaller car next time. Amiamo Vico Equence l'Italia!!!!

We can't say enough about this property. It is so wonderful. The views are stunning. The house is spacious and clean. But best of all the hosts are so gracious and helpful. We were met with fresh fruit from their orchard each day. They were so friendly and helpful at every turn. and the mountain village was safe and welcoming.

The house was clean and suitable for a family holiday. There is a beautiful wiev from the roof terrace. Raffaele was an excellend host. Everything went well with him. The pool was situeted in a nearby agriturismo, about 100 meters away and Raffaele’s guests have free access there. The streets are narrow, so don’t come with a huge car.

This house is perched on a hill overlooking the bay of Naples. Sunsets from the patio are amazing. The villa has three apartments, two with the owner & parents- they create a warm, welcoming family atmosphere. The garden is beautiful. The house is really well laid out for family holidays. Exactly as described.
The nearest family pizzeria is a 5 minute walk- good & very cheap! Local shops include tiny supermarket that has most essentials, veg shop & cafe/ice cream/currency exchange. The town of Vico Equense has some good restaurants & nearby beaches. We visited Sorrento (about 40 mins away)- parking centrale was reasonable price & near shops/restaurants. Pompeii was a 45 min drive towards Naples & worth seeing- also visit the archeological museum in Naples to see artefacts from the site.
The house is only really accessible with a car (although there is a bus service that takes you much of the way). Walking is arduous (although fun & stunning views). Driving is quite scary- ***the roads are very narrow, hilly & winding**. Driving is true to local reputation so if you drive- pay for all extra insurance & hire the smallest car possible- Fiat panda/500 or similar. We had an amazing time- thank you Raffaele & family.
