Anaik Matin, property manager, lives nearby and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Professionally cleaned and disinfected by a licensed company. There are at least 24 hours in between guest arrivals and departures. Hale Aliomanu is located in a tsunami zone. Evacuation procedures are give prior to and upon arrival.
Hale Aliomanu is a private oceanfront estate located on Aliomanu Bay, Kauai, Hawaii. As you drive in the gate, you enter your own personal retreat, swaying palm trees, the soothing sound of the ocean, lush tropical landscaping, the scent of plumeria and the solitude of Kauai. Enjoy unobstructed ocean views from most all of the rooms. Watch the sun come up from the comfort of your bed, or stargaze with virtually no ambient light from your lanai.
The elegance of this estate home is evident everywhere, Ipe wood floors throughout, top of the line kitchen appliances, regal bedding and attention to every detail will make your holiday perfect.
Walk out your front door, stroll across the lush lawn to one of the most private and year round swimmer friendly beaches, the pristine turquoise waters of Aliomanu Bay. Relax and enjoy shell collecting, boogie boarding or a kayak trip across the bay in one of our sit on top, novice friendly, ocean kayaks.
The Hale Aliomanu Estate sleeps 12 comfortably in 6 bedrooms. The main house has 5 bedrooms and the 6th bedroom is in the detached upper level studio guest unit. This is a queen bed in the studio guest unit. There are three (3) bedrooms upstairs in the main house, all air conditioned. Upstairs is the oversized master bedroom, oceanfront, air conditioned, with a luxurious king bed, walk-in closet, soaking tub, two person shower enclosure and private oceanfront covered deck. Also upstairs is the elegant oceanfront air conditioned queen bedroom and the air conditioned twin bedroom, which has two (2) twin size beds and has a garden view, side ocean view. These two (2) twin beds can be converted to a king size bed if you prefer. Please provide us with at least a week advance notice if you need the twin beds converted to a king configuration. Downstairs there is the oceanfront den/bedroom which has a queen size bed, the patented Comfort Sleeper custom made by American Leather. This bedroom opens to the covered oceanside deck and has a 1/2 bath with direct entrance to a privacy enclosed hot outdoor shower. Also downstairs there is an air-conditioned queen bedroom. This lovely Asian themed bedroom has its own entrance. It is attached to the home, but with a private entrance. Detached from the main home is the lovely upper level queen bedroom studio guest unit, which is, of course, air conditioned . This lovely studio has a queen bed, with kitchenette, full size subzero refrigerator, small dining area, living area with love seat and large screen TV, full bathroom.
Parking inside of the Estate gate can easily accommodate 5-6 vehicles.
Conveniently located on the East side of Kauai you can enjoy most other famous Kauai attractions with a short drive North or South.

This house is a dream come true for a large group. We are a family of 9 with 4 children, 3 of them teenagers. There was plenty of room for everyone. Everything in the home is working and complete. Anything we used in the kitchen and outdoor grill was perfect and ready to use. There was plenty of paper products, towels and linens. The beach was lovely; we rarely saw another person. It was easy to get to the beach from the yard. I'm older and was a little worried about that. The family enjoyed snorkeling, kayaking, sunbathing, and even fishing. The home had everything we needed for time at the beach. I especially appreciated the large selection of water shoes and snorkel gear. This saved us some money on a rafting excursion. The property is beautiful and great for playing in the yard. The house is very secure. We lacked nothing in this lovely home. The location is good for getting around the island. The neighborhood is quiet. The temperature in the house was comfortable, and so were the beds. I have never stayed at a VRBO property that was a well cared for and had no surprises or problems. I looked at a lot of properties before I picked this house. I'm so glad I spent a little extra, nothing compared to this house and all that it has to offer.

The combination of quiet location on a prime beach and beautiful large home made this too hard to pass up for our destination celebration. I felt like the listing was accurate and I was familiar with the area due to previous visits to the island & beach. The ‘X’ factor was Anaik (property mgr). Responsive, clear, helpful, available are all descriptors I would use to describe Anaik. [Thanks for the coolers!] My only regret was we didn’t get a chance to meet and say aloha.I feel like the listing is very accurate. There is ample parking. There is a very nice apartment above the garage. The grass yard between the house and beach is large. The beach is very nice and the water in front of house can be used for snorkeling, kayaking, etc. Be aware the tide will impact how much sand you have but the beach is long and you can always find a spot even at high tide. I highly recommend this property while recognizing the cost. It was perfect for our group and we ate multiple group meals at the large indoor table and enjoyed the company and space. I would absolutely stay again.

It was a beautiful home in a perfect location. We were there with our kids and grandkids and loved having the separate space above the garage with its on mini kitchen and bathroom for one family and the separate bedroom and bath for another couple. Everyone had some personal space and the great room, kitchen and front and back patios had plenty of room when we all got together.

We spent one week in beautiful Kauai. The property and house were very nice and the access to the beach was great. What was a bit disappointing was the constant comings and goings of the property owners gardening staff, pest control and so on. It was a different situation and person 4d out of our stay. It was a bit off putting when you’re trying to enjoy family time and unsure who’s supposed to be at the home and who’s not. Overall our stay was so great and the property owners are very respectful and responsive.
