Podere il Doccio is an old farmhouse situated on the bank of a stream, from which it takes its name.
Il Doccio is a little hidden paradise, a real country oasis that makes it a private place, ideal for rest and recharge.
The entire property consists of the Podere of about 8 hectares of fields and oak woods. The access road to the property continues beyond the small bridge to the end of its run to the houses of the ancient Mulino del Doccio.
Il Doccio only 6km from Terranuova Bracciolini or Loro Ciuffenna where you can find anything you need. The valley is neighbour to Firenze/Florence (N), Arezzo (S), the Chianti area (W) and the Pratomagno mountain chain (E).

We have visited Podere Il Doccio four times – and every time it feels like coming home. Irene, Sara, and Gianluca are the warmest hosts, always ready with a smile and great recommendations for restaurants, nature experiences, and local wineries.
Here you’ll find peace, harmony, and a beautiful pool with peace and quiet. The Tuscan barbecue is a must – fresh local ingredients, wonderful wines, and service from Irene and her staff, goes far beyond expectations.
For us, this is not just a holiday spot – it’s where we find peace, connection, and true hospitality. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

The villa is fine, albeit rustic, A/C does work well. Irene is the host and she is wonderful and very helpful. The most difficult aspect of the villa is access. For those who drive (and I think you must) once you leave the main road it is quite challenging. All in all a very nice place to stay and fairly advertised. It needs better signage for access.

Nothing to complain. Big house with all features you need. Enough plates, glasses etc even a lot of kitchenstuff like oil, vinegar etc… highly recommandable. Lovely and courteous landlady. Thanks a lot Irene
