Tucked behind Cheadle's High St. Hidden Cottage (circa 1830) offers spacious quality self catering accommodation, a quiet and secluded retreat for couples wanting peace and quiet as well as all the town's amenities on the doorstep. Hidden Cottage in Cheadle is ideally located in the heart of North Staffordshire for short or weekly holiday breaks. It is a 15 minute journey to Alton Towers,the Peak District and Stoke on Trent. Shops and amenties close by.
Self check in, you can come and go as you please.
Relaxing and quiet cottage with a cosy living room which includes 32'' flat screen television, books ,games and DVD provided. French doors lead to a lovely private terraced courtyard ( a sun trap ) for you to use. Eight steps down to the entrance. One step down to the kitchen and a step up to the bedroom with King size bed and en suite with large shower. Linen and towels provided. No hidden extras. Free Parking nearby.
Hidden Cottage is designed for two people there are no extra beds available. Strictly no Pets.

Excellent little house but lots of space! Very deceptive from the outside. Good location and very quiet, but not good if you have any issues with steps. Most enjoy stay

Second time we’ve stayed, lovely cosy home with all amenities and home comforts. Secure and near to all shops. Don’t forget to go to the oatcake shop on Cross Street, open on Sundays too.

The only issues I had was the tv stopped working, there was no signal. This didnt bother me at all but the overall damp issue did bother me and was overpowering, unfortunately.
I, too, live in a very old building but there is no damp or musty smell.
I agee with previous reviewers in that the damp is an issue which causes health issues during stay and needs to be resolved.
