A beautiful traditional Irish Country Cottage and Garden. Originally the family home of the present owners grandparents. The cottage is featured in the March 2015 edition of " Vacation Rental Travels" - an American " Home and Travel " digital magazine. Limerick City 26km, Shannon Airport 53km, Dublin Airport 207km. This beautiful well equipped cottage has recently been refurbished with much care and attention to every detail and offers an excellent standard of self catering accommodation. Situated on the outskirts of the village of Doon in County Limerick. Provides the comforts of modern living with the charm and character of a country cottage. It is perfect for a romantic break, a family holiday or simply just as a relaxing base for touring. Ideal all year round retreat. Minimum 6 nights stay. Plentiful parking at side and rear of cottage. Bathroom/toilet downstairs with bath tub and shower over bath tub. Cooga Cottage offers free Fibre Broadband Wi-Fi with unlimited access throughout the property. Bed linen, towels and toiletries supplied free of charge. Cot, high chair, baby blankets and baby bath available free of charge - please mention when booking.
Cooga Cottage is an old style traditional Irish Country Cottage with some vintage furnishings and features.
The cottage does not have air-conditioning.
Complimentary arriving essentials - tea, coffee, milk, chocolate snacks and toiletries provided.

From Shannon Airport follow signs for Limerick. From Limerick City follow signs for N 24 ( Tipperary/Waterford road ). Travel along N 24 for approx. 13km and turn left onto R 505 - signposted Cappamore/Doon - after approx. 2km take first right - signposted Cappamore/Doon - this narrow winding road takes you to Cappamore - go through the village to the very end of the Main Street and turn right at Maddens Pub ' The Bridge Inn ' - signposted Doon/Cappawhite. This is your road to Doon which is less than 10 minutes drive - as you approach Doon watch out for the Church spire on your left - the old stone Church is on a side road off the road you are travelling. Cooga Cottage is adjacent to the Church.
From Dublin & Cork Airports follow signs for Limerick then follow signs for N24 and R505 to Doon.

Cooga Cottage is beautifully decorated and furnished and will comfortably sleep 6 between 3 Bedrooms -- 2 upstairs bedrooms -- 1 double (1 double bed ) & 1 twin ( 2 single beds ) -- 1 downstairs bedroom with 1 double bed. Hairdryers in each bedroom. The ground floor bathroom/toilet has a bath tub with shower over tub.
The kitchen/dining room is fully equipped with electric hob/oven, microwave, toaster, fridge freezer, coffee makers x 3 ( French Press, Expresso & Filter ) dishwasher, washing machine, iron/ironing board.
** Please note, cottage has just one bathroom/toilet which is located on the ground floor - shower is over bathtub. If you really need ensuite bedrooms, king size beds or large spacious rooms the cottage is not for you **.

This cottage was perfect! Tom is a wonderful host. The cottage could not have been nicer and the photos do not do it justice. The cottage is on a quiet country road walking distance to town and has a beautiful garden area for relaxing after a long day of sight-seeing. This cottage came with a washer AND a dryer which was a pleasant surprise. Thank you Tom for all the extras you do to make our visit one we will always treasure.

We had a great 10 days staying at Cooga cottage. A great base to explore west and south central Ireland. The cottage exceeded our expections and was a lovely base to come back to afet a day of exploring. Tom was a great host. Would come back again. Peter. Australia

Cooga Cottage is a very nice place. It match thé description. If you like typical irish house, Cooga cottage is made for you.
This house have all équipements to have a confortable stay. Thé garden is really splendid

Our stay exceeded all expectations. Tom, the owner could not of been any nicer or helpful. The cottage was well stocked. Food markets in Tipperary were close and convenient. The cottage and garden are stunning. We highly recommend staying in the cottage if you are looking for a fairytale. When we first arrived the cottage was hard to find at night, but a quick call and Tom was out with a flashlight to guide us in. What a great host.
