King's Cottage is a beautiful refurbished Cotswold holiday cottage which sleeps four guests, in two well-appointed bedrooms, with one spacious bathroom. On the ground floor you have a stylish open plan kitchen/dining room, the perfect sociable space to cook a fabulous meal in, whilst still being able to entertain. From the kitchen/diner, you have access out into the courtyard garden which boasts an outdoor seating area and an enticing hot tub to enjoy all year round. King's Cottage is a dog friendly home, suitable for two dogs, and is perfectly placed in Wootton for you to enjoy the local atmosphere and surroundings.

We had a lovely stay at Kings Cottage as a group of four. The cottage was comfortable & well suited to our needs.
The standout feature was how comfortable the beds were. The duvets & pillows were excellent, & we all slept very well throughout our stay.
The hot tub was another highlight. It was a great size for four people, kept at a lovely temperature, and, being private, made for a very relaxing experience. We also enjoyed the outdoor seating area. The shower was excellent, & it was helpful to have dishwasher tablets & hot tub supplies provided.
We appreciated the complimentary drinks left in the fridge by the host. As it was a particularly hot day when we arrived, this was a thoughtful and welcome touch.
There were a few minor areas for improvement. The carpet on the stairs was a little dirty on arrival, possibly due to previous guests wearing shoes upstairs. The outdoor mirror also appeared not to have been cleaned, and I ended up wiping it down myself. We would have appreciated additional bathroom amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, as only hand soap was provided.
The upstairs area was quite warm, and there didn’t seem to be a way to adjust the temperature. Some of us found it cosy, while others found it a little too hot. We also noticed there were household waste and recycling bins provided, but no food waste bin, which would have been useful during our stay.
The host was lovely, accommodating, and quick to answer any questions or concerns.

We had another lovely stay at this cottage — it’s beautiful, cosy, and spotlessly clean. The Prosecco and biscuits were such a thoughtful touch and made us feel very welcome. This was our second time staying here and we would definitely return again. The location is perfect for scenic walks around the Cotswolds and day trips to Bicester village.
The hot tub was clean, warm, and perfect for relaxing. The only small point worth mentioning is that the mattresses are quite firm, which may not suit everyone. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Beautiful little cottage, clean and comfortable with great facilities such as an amazing hot tub. We travelled to a range of Cotswold villages and visited Oxford for the day from there.
The village its self is very small with only one pub, Killingworth castle but a very picturesque village.
The only improvement I would say is more lighting at the hot tub as we found it too dark at night

The village of Wootton is lovely and very beautiful, in a good location for visiting Blenheim Palace, Bourton on Water, Stow on Wold and Oxford. There is a village pub which is apparently very nice but we did not visit, opting for the Duke of Marlborough (5mins up road) which does a great Sunday roast. The cottage is small but adequate for a couple or group of four adults and the beds were comfortable. The lounge area is small and could do with a few more home comforts, especially on colder evenings when you cannot enjoy the outside area. The hot tub was nice and we used this a couple of times as weather was very good during our stay.
We had a good few days and would certainly visit the area again.
