1-bedroomed, 700 ft² (65 m²) designer-furnished carriage house (complete with all main appliances, internet, and TV).

The building, built in January 2017, is separate from the main house and above a 2-car garage – access is via a flight of stairs; on-site parking for one vehicle is included.
Situated in the Village of Belcarra on Indian Arm Inlet (fjord) adjacent to təmtəmíxʷtən/Belcarra Regional Park – an area described as “Between Forest and Sea” – offers a fast getaway from daily urban life. Numerous hiking & cycling trails, kayaking/canoeing, and scuba diving access at Whiskey Cove, a 2-minute walk. Located 12 km (7½ miles) from Newport Village, Port Moody, where you’ll find restaurants, pubs, and supermarkets. Regular 30-minute bus service (simple flag-stop at the end of driveway) connects with the rapid transit system (Translink) to downtown Vancouver and Vancouver International Airport.

We absolutely loved our stay at Brian and Carol’s place …. From their immaculate and well appointed carriage house to the amazing and peaceful location right on the water. They generously shared their canoe with us to putter around the spectacularly beautiful area including a jaunt to Deep Cove for lunch. The hikes to Jug Island and Sassamat Lake aren’t to be missed.Their hospitality and attention to detail are second to none!

Always a great stay! Mahalo to Brian & Carol for being such great hosts. There were even improvements this time as they have replaced the TV with a huge new one, added a heat pump for hot or cold air in the bedroom and additional device hub for all our electronics charging. We love the solitude of the place and we’ve now found a great ice cream shop (no sugar/dairy chocolate) right in Port Moody! We’ll be back.

Cute and cosy carriage house, very clean and well equiped.Very comfy bed.Beautiful location with oceon and mountains. Brian and Carol more than welcoming and helpful. A lovely place to unwind.Stayed 10 nights Sept 2025
