Casa Sur Hacienda — a special urban hacienda in Chula Vista's South Bay, where retreat-style living meets the warmth of a real home.
Set on a curated quarter-acre with a Zen garden, cozy lounges & 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and 7 beds. Just 10 min from downtown San Diego, nearby lakes, malls & a short drive to Mexico. Perfect for rest, reconnection, or celebration. Complimentary Dance class!

**500 USD deposit will be collected through our third party software, Hospitable, after your reservation is approved. The deposit itself is collected automatically 2 days before check‑in and released 2 days after check‑out, if no damage is done.
The home blends the soul of a country hacienda with the convenience of city life. Think lush outdoor Zen areas, a sun-drenched courtyard, shaded backyard lounges beneath our iconic Tree of Life and Tree of Shade, a playground, private garden nooks, and flexible indoor and outdoor gathering spaces — all wrapped around a spacious, beautifully furnished interior excellent for short or extended stays.
Casa Sur offers a tranquil setting for an unforgettable stay and memorable gatherings.
Inside, the hacienda offers:
-4 private bedrooms with natural light and comfortable beds
-7 total beds including 3 queen size beds and 4 full size bunk beds accommodating 2 people each (extra bedding as futon and available queen size matress), 17 people can rest comfortably!
-3 full bathrooms
-A fully equipped kitchen
-A lounge and bar area perfect for evening gatherings
-A dance floor section for when the music calls
-Projector and Screen for movie nights or presentations
Outside, the property comes alive:
-A serene Zen area, perfect for yoga, meditation, or morning coffee
-A spacious courtyard and backyard lounge with patio tables and shaded seating
-The iconic Tree of Life and Tree of Shade, natural landmarks on the property
-A playground area and private gardening spaces
-Outdoor bedding options for stargazing nights or extra guests

Ricky’s place has been a beautiful home to spend time with my family. He goes the extra mile to go above and beyond for his guests. His communication was impecable, and the house, along with the backyard, was amazing. We truly appreciate his hospitality and can’t wait to come back.

Casa Sur was a lovely venue to host my mom's 70th birthday party and the perfect home for our extended family to stay. The kids especially loved the bunk room and adults liked being on the other side of the house away from the kids. Ricky Ricardo was a wonderful host with great communication before, during, and after our event and stay. For the party, he set up tables, chairs, a canopy, and provided other amenities for our event like large coffee pot and hot water containers and beautiful mugs. I would definitely recommend Casa Sur Hacienda for an event or just a family vacation. Chula Vista is close to everything in San Diego and Ricky Ricardo is a top notch host!

The host met us at the house to show us around and give us the keys. The house is well maintained and the kitchen is well equipped. Quiet neighborhood close to the xmas light circle.

Uncomfortable stay as we were notified at the walk through the last occupants blasted the Air Conditioning system and caused electrical overload, but weather should be cool rnough not needed. All the members of tje group were uncomfortable especially in evening. Had ants in 2 of the bedrooms and some on kitchen counter. Loud music played by next door neighbor on one night and music and shouting by people at 1am on 3rd night at different adjacent residence with our windows open (no AC) made it difficult to get to sleep. If we would have bee informed there would be no AC during our stay before we arrived, we would have almost assuredly cancelled and got hotelrooms. Nice place, for larger group not such a quiet relaxing getaway considering no AC and inconsiderate neighbors
