While we provide routine professional pest control and keep our homes clean and well-maintained, guests may occasionally see seasonal pests such as mice, flies, lady beetles (Asian beetles), or stink bugs — especially in the fall and spring.
These harmless insects are part of life in a rural setting. We do everything possible to minimize their presence and appreciate your understanding as part of the authentic Brown County experience!

Perfect place to host family for the Spring IU Graduation events. Everyone was comfortable in their own rooms and thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities inside and out. From beginning to end, I had access to the host and could get answers to any questions. Excellent weekend place for a big group or family.

Overall, it was good but would not be back. Upon arrival a man in a pickup was there and I asked if he was Eric, he mumbled maintenance and walked away never to speak again. I didn't know that he left. Now, I did see him fixing the fireplace upstairs, which I could not get to work. Just really not friendly, kind of rude.Nice home in need of a deep clean and some updates. Cobwebs were visible, countertop had bugs behind the coffee pot. It was just spot cleaned. The hot tub was good and the view during the evening was great. BUT at night the lights didn't work and my friend almost fell missing the step down. Again, it was ok but I expected more.
