This is a beautiful ocean front 2 bedroom / 2 bath flat has enough to sleep five. You enter on the first floor and won't need to worry about climbing stairs. This makes your stay more convenient without the need to carry beach equipment up and down stairs. It is furnished with a king in the master bedroom, a small flat screen tv to watch as you fall asleep and a walk-in shower in the bathroom. There is a twin bunk bed and a stand alone twin in the guest room. We have also provided a Kuerig and coffee pot in the kitchen so you can choose how you want to brew your coffee. The large flat screen HDTV in the living room has a VCR / DVD combo and HDMI plugins in case you want to bring your own hookup. Enjoying the ocean from the master or the living room. At Summerhouse we have 4 temperature regulated pools to choose from on property making it comfortable to swim all year round! There are also four tennis courts, two racquetball courts and one pickleball court. We have two grilling areas and two playgrounds for the kids conveniently located at either end of the property. Our common area around the pools are covered with luscious well-maintained grass with a short walk to the beach. Our rental unit has a friendly front office staff and maintenance on site to help resolve any problem quickly if they should arise. We have a small library and a gym available during normal business hours for your convenience.

Overall we had a great time. Great location!!The unit could have been cleaner. Dirt behind bead and sofas. Wall in master bedroom paint and drywall was peeling. Refrigerator was leaking. Coffee machine was old and not working great. Front light was out. We asked twice to have it replaced because we couldn’t see coming in at night. It never was.We love coming to summerhouse and hopefully will return next year.

As usual, we had a nice, relaxing stay. The first week, however, someone set off fireworks on the beach around 9 or 9:30. Fortunately, there were no fireworks set off during our second week.

We live about 45 mins north and my family comes down from VA each year and stays here. They love it, so we decided to join them. We stayed in unit 204 and were underwhelmed. When we arrived we discovered that the oven was not heating properly. Unfortunately it was after-hours and the after-hours number was disconnected. I had to wait until the next morning to call the office. They sent a maintenance crew, however the part had to be ordered. We went 3 days without a working oven. Which meant we had to figure out different plans for our meals. So, we decided to use the stove. Only to find out that the burners didn’t appear to be working properly. When turned on they would “cycle”. They would get hot and then shut off and re-heat. This meant making simple meals (burgers, pancakes, etc) took much longer than it should have. Between both the oven and stove issue this made cooking very challenging. To top it off we had a roach problem for the first half of our stay. Maintenance came out to spray and that seemed to solve the issue. The maintenance and office staff were very attentive to all of our issues. Unfortunately, at a price tag of almost $3,000 for a weeks stays these are not issues we expect to have.
