Schwäbisch Gmünd is located 50 km east of the state capital Stuttgart. Here you will find many hiking and cycling trails in scenic surroundings. A particularly beautiful cycle path runs through Straßdorf on a disused railroad line. Schwäbisch Gmünd can be easily reached in 15 minutes and Göppingen in approx. 1 hour. There are very good inns, bakeries, pharmacy, doctors and much more in the village.
