This wonderfully updated 2 bedroom 1 bath unit is located on bayside in Mission Beach just south of Santa Clara. Completely renovated with no expense spared you will not want for anything during your stay.

Check-in is virtual, as you`ll be provided with a digital Guest Portal and a personalized door code. Vacation Rentals by Aaron is a full-service property management company, and will be available 24-7 in case you need anything during your stay.
Mission Beach is an amazing coastal community designed around `courts` with all of the residences facing one another across a sidewalk. That design creates a cozy and homey feel (and also limits the amount of car traffic) making Mission Beach the ideal spot to `live at the beach`.
Enjoy several miles of long, flat boardwalks for riding bikes or skateboards or just going on a stroll at sunset. Restaurants, bars and amusement parks are all within walking distance. And of course, the beach on one side to surf or the bay on the other for more casual water play (unless you decide to kayak, stand-up paddle board or sail...all rental options are just minutes away).
Please note that there is no parking at this residence and street parking tends to be difficult find in peak season. You can always park in alleys (just look for breaks in the fire lanes or on Mission Blvd (Just check the street sweeping signs). If you head east on Santa Clara Pl towards the Mission Bay Aquatic Center, there is free daytime parking (not for overnight use). Next to Santa Clara is the Mission Beach Women`s Club, which offers paid parking when they have it (look for the envelopes by the door.

There is a fully stocked kitchen with all items needed to bake, cook or grill, pots/pans, cookie sheets, casserole dishes, outdoor plastic dishes, knives, cutting board, blender, coffee maker, toaster, tea kettle, salt, pepper, sugar, coffee, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, first aid kit, a/c & heat, wifi, Smart TV, hair dryer, iron, iron board, shared washer-dryer, luggage rack, hangers, extra linens, pillows and blankets, beach towels, beach chairs, beach toys, beach umbrellas, and patio furniture.
For stays longer than 30 days, I require a deposit in the amount of one month`s rent to be paid offline due 60 days prior to arrival as well as a formal lease agreement.
Beach Equipment: despite the inclusion of snorkeling gear, we do not offer it at our rentals
Despite any stated cancellation policy, I will refund 100% for any cancellations made prior to 90 days from your arrival date. Thereafter I will refund your rental fee to the extent I am able to re-rent the unit for the days cancelled.
Important notes/house rules:
-Quiet Hours: 10pm-6am (weekdays); 11pm-6am (weekends).
-Absolutely no parties or gatherings are permitted at our properties--being overly disruptive to neighbors will result in the immediate cancellation of your reservation and forfeiture of any monies paid (including your refundable deposit).
- There is no smoking permitted at any of properties.
- Please treat our properties and, more importantly, our neighborhoods as you treat your own. Keep San Diego vacation rentals vibrant and thriving!

a group of guys show up to store their luggage an hour before check-out which was uncomfortable as check-out felt rushed. property was clean and well-maintained otherwise. beds were comfortable and lots of pillows, blankets, etc… to accommodate everyone. coffee was available and delicious. so close to so many great places to eat and the bay & the beach are so close and convenient. we recommend la perlita!

Great location if you want to be by the beach, everything was fine, only negative thing i can say is there’s no parking & you would have to find street parking & during business hours the streets are full.

Great location. The area was very walkable and the beach was only a block away. Very comfortable. The neighborhood was pretty quiet and safe. Aaron, our host was very responsive. Would definitely stay again.

Cute, clean, comfortable. Great location - Walking distance to the beach and several nearby restaurants. Easy drive to Balboa Park and whale watching excursions. No onsite parking (noted by owner in VRBO ad) but we managed to find street parking and it really wasn’t bad. If you’re not mobile or it’s a challenge to walk a fair distance (a block or two) then this place it not for you. My only disappointment was the condition of the stove/oven. There were at least 3 missing knobs to the burners making it very challenging to use. One morning after making breakfast, we smelled gas because we hadn’t properly turned the stove off DUE TO LACK OF KNOBS. I’ve worked in hospitality and it is unacceptable that this was not addressed prior to renting the unit out. How the missing stove knobs were missed by the cleaning staff and/or the operations manager is beyond me.
