Step into the charm of 6 The Green, a beautifully restored thatched cottage offering the perfect blend of character, comfort, and countryside tranquillity.
Guests enter through a welcoming hallway into a cosy and inviting living space, complete with comfortable sofa, armchairs, and a feature fireplace. The adjoining dining area creates a warm, relaxing environment – ideal for slow breakfasts, family meals, or unwinding after a day exploring.
The charm continues downstairs with a generously sized live in kitchen/breakfast room, fully equipped for home cooking, plus a separate utility area. There’s also a practical boot room with an additional shower room – perfect for rinsing off muddy boots or wellies after countryside walks.
The spacious ground-floor main bedroom features a king-size bed with a luxurious memory foam mattress to ensure a restful night’s sleep. Also on the ground floor is the large family bathroom, where you can soak away the day in the double-ended bath or enjoy the walk in spa like shower.
From the living room, a characterful spiral staircase leads to a galleried landing with a dressing area and through to the twin bedroom – perfect for children, friends, or additional guests.
Surrounded by stunning countryside, this peaceful rural getaway is ideal for long walks straight from the door. For shopping, dining, and history, the beautiful market town of Bury St Edmunds is just a short drive away.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Green! The cottage is beautiful with its thatched roof, ceiling beams and big fireplace. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything you might need & a lovely private garden to enjoy the summer evenings.
Communication with Tracy was excellent. She made sure we had everything we needed and provided some brilliant personalised recommendations for things to do/happening in the local area. The cottage is located conveniently for lots of attractions and a short drive into the town centre. Wish we could have stayed for longer & would love to return one day.
