Lovely cottage in rural location, on quiet lane surrounded by French countryside. Bedroom on mezzanine with exposed beams and super comfy King-size bed. Pamper yourself in the luxury bathroom with sunken bath and walk-in shower. Fully equipped kitchen as well as covered area outside with BBQ and dining area. Lovely garden with shaded areas for sitting and enjoying a good book. The cottage has a Smart TV and benefits from WIFI. The Leisure Lakes are 3km away where swimming, fishing and boat hire is available. 10 minute drive to Rochechouart Chateau. Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. A great base to explore this beautiful area of France... fantastic for hiking and cycling.

A very pleasant welcome and communication by Rod and Pasha.
An ideal place to visit either national park, interesting site like roman thermal site, Oradour sur Glane, Rochechouart castle,... and near the Charente lakes.
Cottage very well equiped and spacious.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in le Mas.
The gite was well equipped and comfortable with some extra touches such as the welcome provisions. We cooked most nights and found everything we needed in the small but perfectly formed kitchen.
Pasha and Rod were the perfect hosts and made us feel welcome from the start to the end of our stay.
We were very lucky with the weather, 33 degrees the high, and the garden was a lovely place to relax after a busy day visiting some of the many places of interest nearby.
Would recommend Brantome and Oradour sur Glane as well as a Tuk Tuk tour of the vineyards of St Emillion if you fancy going further afield.

Pasha and Rod gave us a warm welcome and all support we needed to enjoy our holidays.

We had a very relaxing 10 days staying in this lovely gite in a small hamlet surrounded by beautiful countryside. It is well appointed and comfy and a perfect base for exploring the local villages and swimming lakes. Wonderful hosts who made us very welcome from the start. An abundance of wildlife that only adds to the overall superb ambiance.
