There is no noise, no other people.. The house was well equipped, in the kitchen and there was also a laundry machine.. In the night you see thousands of stars, amazing! This was a beautiful property with extensive, well-kept grounds. Virginie was so kind and helpful throughout.

Virginie was a lovely host and this well equipped house was quirky and very spacious. We had a lovely week and made the most of the heated pool and peace and quiet. It is a remote spot and you will get to know the local villages and lanes as you travel around.

We stayed at this property for 6 nights and were blown away by its beauty and charm. The photos probably don’t do it justice. The house is old and full of character with beams (watch your head!) and double height spaces. It has been furnished in a very classy and stylish way and was extremely comfortable as well as being brilliantly equipped. The outdoor kitchen and furniture was a nice surprise in the games barn and made for a very pleasant evening. Virginie was very attentive, but also kept a discreet distance. The garden was huge and completely private and the pool was most welcome in the heat (not heated, but wasn’t a problem due to the air temperature).
