Spanning 50 square meters on the first floor of our beautiful, rural Frisian house, you’ll find a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with natural light, a shower, and a toilet, a small, cozy living room with a TV, and a large living-dining area with a fully equipped kitchenette.

If you want to tell your friends, relatives, or colleagues just how wonderfully relaxed you already feel after just a few days here, you can do so easily—Wi-Fi access is available.

And if the relaxation ever becomes too much for you: Ockholm may be a small, quiet village, but it’s conveniently located so that you can be in Husum, Niebüll, or Flensburg in no time.

The ferries to the Halligen islands depart from nearby Schlüttsiel, which is just 5 km away. The car ferry to Sylt departs from Niebüll, and the ferries to Amrum or Föhr depart from Dagebüll. You can reach Sankt Peter Ording in just over an hour by car, and even Denmark is barely a stone’s throw away.

If the North Sea ever feels too rough, simply take a day trip to the Baltic Sea—for example, to Fehmarn. Or visit cities like Travemünde or Lübeck.
