The apartment is located on the outskirts of the Schwabstedt Health Resort. A garden with a lawn, a barbecue, and patio furniture is available to our guests. Play equipment is available for our younger guests. Bicycles can be used free of charge.
It is approximately 500 meters from the Treene River swimming area. The nearest swimming beach on the North Sea is about 17 kilometers away. It is 15 kilometers from the regional town of Husum. The idyllic Dutch town of Friedrichstadt is right nearby. You can reach the North Frisian Halligen and the islands on comfortable day trips. Schwabstedt is very centrally located; you can easily reach the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, as well as the northern and southern parts of Schleswig-Holstein.
The Treene River offers anglers an excellent fish population. The Treene is a real delight for sports enthusiasts and athletes. Those who enjoy hiking or biking can enjoy nature away from traffic. Motorcyclists can experience nature on excellent trails.
The Schwabstedt vacation resort is very centrally located, allowing visitors to quickly reach the provincial town of Husum—known for Theodor Storm—or the gateway to the Halligwelt.
It’s also just a stone’s throw from neighboring Denmark or the Baltic Sea.
Guests can rent bicycles from us for free and explore the countryside by road or on the water by canoe or kayak, which are available for rent on the hotel grounds. The area can also be explored on horseback along established riding and driving trails.
Schwabstedt and our surrounding area offer guests many recreational opportunities. The provincial town of Husum has an interesting program in store for visitors who would like to experience the local culture.
Every year in early May, our region—the Eider-Treene-Sorge—comes alive. Local crafts, the economy, and tourism are showcased. You’ll be amazed by what our region has to offer visitors.
