Inside is absolutely stunning, with floor to ceiling windows in the living area, river rocked fireplace, nice comfortable seating, and large flat screen tv with Direct TV service. The kitchen is stunning, with granite counter tops, stainless appliances, and fully equipped to enjoy a nice meal right at the cabin. Sweet Southern Comfort is located less than a ten minute drive to downtown Bryson City, where you can find delicious dining options and boutique shops. This lovely town is home to the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, which features the Polar Express and Great Pumpkin Patch Express. The home is also close to the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park in the Deep Creek section where you can find whitewater tubing, hiking trails to waterfalls, horseback riding, and is a great place for fishing. The Cherokee Indian Reservation is location just a short 15 minute drive away where you can tour the reservation, visit Harrah's Cherokee Casino, or take a ride on the Parkway. If you're looking for a bit of outdoor adventure, take a 15 minute drive over to the Nantahala River Gorge where you will find whitewater rafting, kayaking, and zip line tours.
