Such a peaceful ride in the morning and amazing sunsets where the river meets the gulf. We love to tie up to the Black Water Restaurant ! Great chef who creates amazing plates with our seafood ! Lunch and dinner is also available Dockside from our onsite food truck. All wild caught Right at your dock, Cannot get any FRESHER !!
Our commercial fishing boats have operated 40 years coming in from the Gulf providing seafood, boat to plate, to local restaurants and across the country. WHAT FUN TO WATCH deep sea boats unload thousands of pounds of fish crossing your dock! Put in your boats or kayaks here at boat ramp and enjoy a peaceful ride up the river to the gulf or short drive to public ramp at the head of river / Gulf. Room here for your boat and trailer . We have a 4 adult and 2 child Kayaks. Camp fire and wood provided. Bring family or fishing buddies enjoy the gaming area in the loft bedroom, pool table, ping pong, all set up for rainy days.
Inglis & Yankee town offers a variety of little shops and restaurants. A short drive to Crystal River. Swim with the Manatees, local art shops, restaurants, boutiques, coffee shops, sports bars.Take a break from the crowds and experience Old Florida the Nature Coast. This property is exactly as described! So cute and welcoming, we felt right at home. Very clean had everything we needed! Glen and Donna are wonderful hosts. There is a working fishhouse on the grounds that is great well as all the employees. Can't forget the food truck that's on the property, oh so delicious!! If you like to fish, bring your rods and relax on the dock, you may just catch a big ole catfish or even a gar! There is a lot to do but you have to go at least 20 ton30 minutes away, it is so worth it!!

Beautiful property and house. A unique experience to stay at a working fishing house. All staff were over the top nice. The area is beautiful and had a lot of fun discovering Floridas nature coast! Food truck was delicious and the live entertainment on the weekends was a definite bonus!

The property was just as described and very spacious. We were tired of tourist traps and wanted nature/family time. Upon arrival I met one of the owners and she gave us 2 huge pans of food from the crawfish boil they had the day before. We fished at the tailwaters of Lake Rousseau, chartered a fishing boat and went to the Homosassa spring and wildlife area. The manatees had already traveled out into the gulf, so we only saw the 3 residents at Homosassa. We fished on their dock almost every evening. It was very peaceful and you could see a million stars. We caught catfish and a few gar. We also spotted a gator one night. Sometimes there are people staying on the boats, but they are not bothersome. You have to be careful because you are fishing between their boats. I kayaked by myself one evening and saw Osprey and an eagle. The food truck was amazing and so convenient. It felt secluded, but you could get to crystal springs within 20 minutes. If you are looking for a super quiet property, this is not for you. It is a bustling business and everyone that we ran across was friendly. It was never an issue for us. We cooked our own fish, but the shop had a lot of fresh variety and some souvenirs. My son got the smoked fish dip and loved it. We would recommend Mad Dog Charters. Bradley was experiencing and knew where to go. We only caught a few keepers, but we still had a great time. Overall, I would definitely recommend this River House. It was clean and the beds were comfortable.

Everything was perfect, the house had everything and beyond that you need the hosts were so generous and kind and nice. If you love seafood, that's the place to be, they have a seafood market right next door you can go every day if you like and get fresh seafood.And it was so cool to watch the fishing boats come in and the fish come off of the boats.You can get a fish right off the boat and take it over to the fish market they'll fillet and clean it for you. I highly recommend staying here.
