Nestled within Kukuiʻula, one of Kauaʻi's most sought-after South Shore communities, Hale 'Akea is a private island retreat designed for unforgettable family vacations and relaxing getaways with friends. Enjoy ocean views, sweeping green-space vistas, and a private walking path leading directly to The Shops at Kukuiʻula, where you'll find dining, boutiques, and local favorites just moments from your doorstep. Poipu's celebrated beaches, snorkeling, golf, surfing, dining, and coastal adventures are all within easy reach.

This charming single-story plantation-style home beautifully blends vintage Hawaiian character with modern comfort. The main residence features two well-appointed bedrooms and two bathrooms, while a detached one-bedroom, one-bath guest ʻohana offers additional privacy for grandparents, another couple, or older children traveling with your group. Multi-zone air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout both spaces ensure year-round comfort after sun-filled island days.

Designed for gathering, the home's open-concept living area flows seamlessly outdoors through sliding pocket doors, inviting in tropical breezes and creating an effortless indoor-outdoor lifestyle. Smart TVs, including a large-screen living room TV with upgraded whole-home sound, provide entertainment for cozy evenings at home, while Hawaiiana-inspired décor adds warmth and a true sense of place.

The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped for everything from quick breakfasts before the beach to memorable family dinners. Premium Viking and Bosch appliances, granite countertops, a spacious island, and all the essentials a home chef could need make preparing meals both easy and enjoyable.

Outside, discover your own private tropical oasis. Soak beneath the stars in the in-ground spa, gather around the fire pit as tiki torches flicker in the evening breeze, or grill fresh island fare at the built-in BBQ. The expansive backyard provides plenty of space for loved ones to reconnect, creating the perfect backdrop for making lasting vacation memories.
