This house is our little piece of heaven. Enjoy coffee in the morning on the large deck and watch the birds and deer come to feed. Plenty of room to walk around on the property and spend some time on the lower level with gorgeous tree canopy. Access to Medina River for hiking, fishing, soaking, and kayaking. Living room offers a futon bed and TV. The first bedroom has a queen bed and TV in the room, the second bedroom has two sets of bunk beds - full on bottom and twin on top- with TV in the room. Two baths - one stand up shower and the other a tub/shower combo. Kitchen includes plenty of items that you would have at your own home for cooking/serving/eating. There is also a propane griddle and a charcoal/wood burning BBQ pit available for your outside use.

The property and host were great! Our only problem was we did not understand the location and had to do a lot of going back and forth to bandera so it was more driving than anticipated. I would definitely recommend this spot, especially if you can spend some time at the property.

This would be a great place to come with the kids, though we had a wonderful and peaceful time being here by ourselves. We loved watching the deer and birds, and did lots of front and back porch sitting, after a jaunt down to see the river. The view is amazing. If you like German food, you must try the Tiny Schnitzel house on the south side of the highway heading toward Bandera. The food is very authentic and delicious, and reasonably priced and the owners/cooks are very friendly. It doesn’t look like much, but is worth the stop.

Rented this for guests that came to visit. They loved it!

We had a wonderful time sitting on the porch watching the wildlife and looking at the hills in the distance. We enjoyed walking down the hill to the river and checking out the scenery.
