Enjoy the best of both worlds at Alpen View Villa; just 850 m from central Queenstown, this is a peaceful, cosy and convenient home. With a lovely gas fireplace, plush carpets, and a heat pump in every room, this home is wonderful for a winter getaway!
VIEWS:
Alpen View Villa is positioned to offer uninterrupted panoramic views of Queenstown`s iconic landmarks including Lake Wakatipu, Cecil Peak and Walter Peak. Relax and watch the 110-year-old vintage steamship travel across the lake, just postcard perfect! Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors maximise the superb location and the stunning lake and mountain views.
LOCATION:
The elevated location provides the most spectacular views, while being just a 13-minute walk down the hill to Queenstown`s energetic town centre.
BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS:
The Master bedroom with ensuite including a separate jetted tub, along with Bedrooms 2 and 3 and a shared bathroom are located on the upper level. There is a lake facing balcony on this level, accessible from the Master and Bedroom 2, which both boast sensational views of Lake Wakatipu and the many mountain peaks. Bedroom 4 is located downstairs on the main living level and includes an ensuite and private courtyard. The tiled bathrooms are thoughtfully outfitted with underfloor heating and heated towel rails.

LIVING AREA:
This is a wonderfully comfortable room, perfect for relaxing and socialising. Plush carpets, a gas fireplace and heat pump, a desk / workspace area and of course the sensational views of The Remarkables are all you need for an enjoyable and memorable stay. Put your feet up on the large sofa and just soak in the incredible alpine vistas.
KITCHEN & DINING:
A fully fitted and well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, gas cooktop and the all-important coffee machine. There is bar stool seating and a dining table that seats eight. The dining area has incredible views providing a fantastic atmosphere to gather with family and friends.
OTHER PRACTICALITIES:
This is a family-friendly home with a complimentary portacot and highchair available for guest use. Please BYO linen for the portacot. Every room in Alpen View has a heat pump / air con unit for year-round comfort and convenience. There is space for one vehicle in the garage and there is off-street parking on the driveway.
THE GREAT OUTDOORS:
Whatever the time of day, the views are ever changing; the Alpen glow on the mountains is truly special. Step outside and soak up the fresh mountain air; BBQ with a view and enjoy al fresco dining. Be entertained by the paragliders coming down from Bob’s Peak to the right and watch the world go by below in central Queenstown.
RATE INCLUSIONS, FEES & MINIMUM STAYS:
Rates are inclusive of 15% GST, premium linen and for a maximum of eight guests. A departure clean fee of NZ$425 applies. Bookings of 8 nights or more receive a complimentary mid-stay service with fresh towels. (Bed linen change not included; upgrade to a full linen change is available for $200 including GST). Minimum 3-night stay year-round, and 4 - 6 nights during peak periods.
The friendly team from Relax It`s Done will be on call during your stay for special requests and assistance if needed. We can provide full concierge services - perfect for local knowledge, insights on the hidden gems and to make your holiday hassle free.
PLEASE NOTE:
Credit card fees are non-refundable. This is important to be aware of if you choose to pay your balance ahead of the due date.
BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS:
- Guest(s) making a booking must be over 25 years of age. Any guests under 25 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of their stay.
- Alpen View is a residential dwelling and no parties or events are to be held.
- Please be mindful that the property is located in a residential area and be courteous to your neighbours. As per Resource Consent with council, quiet hours are to be observed between 10pm and 7am.
- We are required to take a security bond pre-authorisation hold in addition to the total booking price. (n/a to Airbnb bookings).
- A standard exit clean is included with your booking; however, you are expected to leave the property in a satisfactory state (clear and tidy). Charges may apply for loss of keys, excessive rubbish, sorting contaminated rubbish/recycling, excessive cleaning or damage to the property for example.
- Charges may also apply for travel costs and management/staff time if for example, having to make a dump run, coordination of tradesman/repairs, additional property visits, shop for replacements, and so forth.

Alpen View Villa is a magnificent place to stay. The view is spectacular, the house is perfectly laid out and beautifully appointed. A seamless arrival, everything worked fine. Will definitely stay here again.

Amazing views to wake up and come home to. We had 3 couples and a one year old and the facilities were all there. We stayed 10 nights and it was good to have a few home cooked meals instead of trying to find somewhere to eat every night ( which can be difficult).
The property is elevated and we drove in and out of town (literally 2 minutes) but there are plenty of places to park in the city fringes. Alternatively an $8 can.
I've been to Queenstown many times and the best accommodation I've been in, ideal for 6-8 people.
Margaret and the team are friendly on call and available anytime.
I rarely write reviews unless they are really good or really bad. It's a yes from me 5*

Stayed 7 nights at the Alpen Views Queenstown Hill during July 22 and has an awesome experience. Our property manager was very friendly. Communication was excellent and the property ticked all the boxes for a adult / teenage ski family. We have been coming to Queenstown every July for 10 years typically staying at an apartment hotel but this was awesome. Four large bedrooms, ample bathrooms, great kitchen and living plus huge deck with town and lake views. We’ll be back !!!
