The Baltic Sea resort is located directly on Lübeck Bay in beautiful Schleswig-Holstein. To the left and right are the well-known Baltic Sea resorts of Grömitz and Dahme. You can easily reach Kellenhusen via the A1 Lübeck/Puttgarden highway, taking the Grömitz or Lensahn exits. It is located about 50 minutes by car from Lübeck, 70 minutes from Kiel, and 90 minutes from Hamburg.
This family-friendly Baltic Sea resort is situated in the Bay of Lübeck within a tranquil coastal landscape between the Baltic Sea and a large forested area, surrounded by meadows, pastures, and woods. Thanks to its unique location, every visitor can enjoy active pursuits or relax amid the beautiful natural surroundings. The approximately 2-kilometer-long, gently sloping sandy beach—featuring a no-swimming zone, three dog-friendly beaches, and a sports area—offers plenty of space for everyone and is perfect for sunbathing, playing, and swimming.
The 305-meter-long pier is an eye-catching landmark for all vacationers. In addition to the gorgeous beach, the town offers a well-established infrastructure that meets all your daily needs. You’ll also find a variety of highly recommended restaurants, cafés, and bars.
