We were all pleasantly surprised and would stay there again. The 2 SUPs and the Kayak gave us more options as well. The management company answered all requests promptly even when we said it wasn't important and could wait until we left. Very impressive. I gave it a 4 on the location only because we were a little close to 30A and could hear the traffic when outside. Inside it was just as quiet as could be. It was a nice kayak or paddle ride on the lake to the beach. The state park was probably less than a mile down the beach which made for a quieter, less busy beach which is what we like.

She found us another similar rental, then because the second place was less expensive, wrote us a check for the difference!! Thanks Kristy!!

We had quite a few problems but they were all taken care of eventually by texting the property manager. It really seemed they did not walk the property or check it before we came. To begin with the code we were given for the door did not work. Thankfully, two doors were unlocked. The property manager then gave us a new code to use while there. The next problem was the air conditioning had not been turned on and it was really warm, especially the top floor. It took a few hours and one uncomfortable night but it finally cooled off. Also that first night none of the TVs were connected to the Internet. The maintenance man came right out and one by one had them up and running.The "5 minute walk" to the beach was actually 10-12 minutes and then you have to walk through 2 feet of brackish water in eastern lake to get to the beach. So no wagons or carts unless you lift it over your head. Of the 5 bikes promised only two worked. After a call to the property mgr she sent 5 new ones. However, 3 of them were locked together and the combination didn't work. Finally, they came and had to cut off the cable. This was Tuesday night so we only had the bikes to use 3 days.The pool looked cloudy so I got a test kit. The chlorine level was 0. Once again I called and the pool tech added chlorine but I didn't let the children in until later that night. The hot tub was never hot.We enjoyed the pool and grandkids loved fishing off the dock.Outside areas need to be cleaned.
