This 1905 freshly updated cabin is set in a peaceful, private setting. Nice cozy beds and new walk in shower and a full kitchen. Slow down and enjoy the rockers on the big front porch. BBQ and dine on the back porch. Large smart TV. Office area provided with WIFI. Covered parking and outdoor plugs for your boat. Plenty of parking area for recreational vehicles. Only minutes from Lake Palestine, River Run Mud park, 5H shooting range & Pine Dunes golf course. Just minutes to Frankston and centrally located between Palestine, Jacksonville, Tyler and Athens.

Everything was immaculate ... clean, organized and thoughtful in presentation. There was even makings for pancakes in the cupboard. The beds were comfortable as was the living room furniture. Throw pillows and blankets were available. Our host was pleasant and quick to respond to our inquires.If only for a couple of days/nights, it was great to leave behind all the hustle of everyday life in the city. Thank you for our wonderful, QUIET and peaceful get-away at the Cowboy Cabin.

This is the lovliest cabin I've ever stayed in. Linda is definitely a superhost! It is so calm & relaxing out here. If you need a place to recharge, this is it.The cabin was impeccably clean, & stocked with everything I needed. The local grocery store made food shopping very easy. I couldn't decide if the front porch with rocking chairs & view of a pasture of cows or the back with a table & comfy chairs was my favorite. It is very pet friendly. My little pug loved running around the yard. I cannot recommend this place enough. I will absolutely be back!
