Excellent private accomodstions, with absolutely anything you need for a week at a beautiful beach. I especially liked the kitchen with all the amenities needed by an amateur chef, like myself. The gas range was exceptional and high end Emeril cookware made cooking a joy! The unit was clean and had anything one needs for the beach available, including use of a golf cart. The neighborhood was quiet with a lovely view of the waterway right out your front door. 3 minutes by cart to the beach access, but a pretty long walk to the water, so I would suggest packing light and/or take advantage of a set up service. Once on the beach, the view is spectacular and when we were there, there were very few people on the wide expansive sand. It is one of the nicest beaches I've experienced, and I've seen them all in NC, SC, and VA. This was our first trip to Emerald Isle, but it will not be our last. Simply awesome vacation and I highly recommend Tailz Down for an amazingly comfortable stay in Emerald Isle. The owner's communication was excellent, and it was a pleasure to meet them and enjoy their hospitality. Everything was above par!!!

We had an absolute wonderful time staying in this lower level suite!!! Communication could not have been better. The location was close to restaurants, stores, and most importantly the beach. The space was filled with comfortable furniture, including the king size bed which I wanted to bring home with us. The kitchen was extremely well-stocked, and the fridge and freezer were large enough for all of our beach food goodies. And best of all, was having access to a golf cart, beach chairs, umbrellas, and all linens and towels. We didn’t have to pack any of that this trip, which was soooooo nice. We will definitely be back!!

Stayed a couple of days to take care of my military daughter who had her tonsils removed. Place is in a nice quiet neighborhood. Approximately 10 minute walk to beach. Can see part of bay but not on property. Description of property should state owner stays above you with family. Could hear walking, dog running/barking, and chairs scraping over floor, our ceiling! 2nd bathroom needs updated along with some other things. Overall was a nice place to stay minus noise.
