This private vacation rental offers everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. From the moment you arrive, you will be greeted by the soothing sounds of nature and the refreshing coastal breeze. One of the highlights of this home is the private saltwater pool, perfect for taking a refreshing dip and lounging in the sun. After a day at the beach or exploring the nearby trails, come home and unwind by the pool where you are sure to enjoy the outdoor grill and bar. The house is designed to create a serene and tranquil environment with modern and comfortable furnishings, you will instantly feel at ease.
Backing up to the Currituck Banks Maritime Forest Trail and the Currituck Banks Reserve, nature lovers will be in their element. You can embark on leisurely walks along the trail, immersing yourself in the beauty of the maritime forest and enjoying breathtaking sound sunsets. The trail offers a unique opportunity to observe the local wildlife and discover the wonders of the area. For those who crave adventure, the nearby 4X4 beach is a must-visit. Here, you can witness the wild mustang horses that roam freely along the shore.
With easy beach access just a short walk away, you can spend hours exploring the pristine sandy beaches, collecting seashells, or simply basking in the sun.
If that was not enough to entice you, this community has two community pools (free), a fitness center, and racquetball courts (both for an additional fee), and a playground.
On the first level of this house, challenge your family or friends to a game of foosball in the recreation room. Out back, you will come to a true oasis - the private saltwater pool, an outdoor shower with a changing area, and a covered outdoor tiki bar with bar stools. There is a large backyard for playing games and/or enjoying the nature that surrounds you.
Venture up to the second level where you will find most of the sleeping accommodations. Here is a King En Suite, Queen Bedroom w/ deck access, a Pyramid Bunk Room and a full bathroom in the hallway. There is also a laundry room with full washer and dryer and generous desk for remote work. Also on this level is a Den with a sleeper sofa for added hanging out space and another sleeping option!
The living space is up on the third level. With an open floor concept, there is a living room area with comfy couches and chairs, a large modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances and barstool seating, and a dining table for the group. Grab a cup of morning coffee and step outside onto the spacious deck. This deck off the living area provides the ideal setting for outdoor dining, allowing you to savor your meals while taking in the beautiful views of the surrounding nature. For the late-nighters of the group, they can stay in the King En Suite on this level. Going down just a few stairs, you will come to a half bathroom for convenience.
Between the luxury living and sleeping spaces, the serene escape of the back yard, easy beach access, and the amenities of the community, you will love Stardust Pines!
This property has 4 number of parking spaces.
**Private outdoor community pools and/or waterpark play areas are available, weather permitting, beginning on Memorial Day and close after Labor Day. Please know that pool operating dates are subject to change at any point, for any reason. Pools and hot tubs are cleaned weekly and no later than 6 p.m. on check-in day. Vendors are subject to enter backyard to clean the pool and/or spa on scheduled cleaning days.**
**Private unheated pools will open on April 16th and close on October 1st. Pools and hot tubs are cleaned weekly and no later than 6 p.m. on check-in day. Vendors are subject to enter backyard to clean the pool and/or spa on scheduled cleaning days.**
**For your safety and security, the exterior of this home is monitored by cameras and sensors. Any attempt to dismantle, move, or tamper with the devices in any way is a violation of our house rules and additional charges may apply.**
**Please Note: Gas Fireplaces are only available from September 1 through April 30th**
Check-In begins at 4pm. Your keyless entry code will begin granting access at this time.
Check-Out is 10am.

It's a beautiful updated home in a great location, you feel very secluded with all the trees around the sides and back of property. Walking distance to nature trail, short walk or drive to beach with life guards. Lovely pool. Home is well stocked with all the kitchenware for preparing/sharing meals or using the grill. As others have mentioned, the stairs and outdoor seating can be challenging for anyone with mobility issues.

Work on your stair stepping machine before you go! We got a pep in our step for sure!Few things didn’t work but besides the minor problems it was an Amazing place. The kids and all had a Great get together. Beach access and amenities were Wonderful.

The home is beautiful but the communication lacks with management A couple of days before our scheduled Sunday arrival, we received a message asking if we wanted to check in a day early. We declined because we already had plans, but at that time I asked if an early check-in on Sunday would be possible. We were told they would get back to us, but it took many hours for a response and the response was that it depended on the cleaners if they would have it ready,. When we arrived about an hour and a half early, we reached out again. After some delay, they approved the early check-in and sent us a new door code.Unfortunately, the door sticks badly. It took us about 15 minutes to get inside, and since then we’ve been afraid to lock the door when leaving because we’re worried we won’t be able to get back in. We’ve had to leave someone at the house whenever the rest of the family goes out.Another concern was that maintenance personnel came to the property while my daughter-in-law was there alone with my two young grandchildren, and we were never notified that anyone would be entering or coming onto the property. A simple message beforehand would have been appreciated.The biggest frustration came when we planned a family cookout. My son had purchased steaks, including filet mignons, New York strips, and chicken, only to discover three minutes into cooking we would run out of propane. The extra tank was completely out and looked in poor condition, as if it caught fire previously
