With its timber frame and expansive glass windows, it's large deck you are surrounded by forests, fields and waterfalls. This place brings the outside, inside. The cottage was designed and built to reflect the great peace and beauty of the land on which is sits. Situated between two pristine brooks amidst rolling forested hills…. You can hear the waterfalls even when the windows are closed and on warm days you can swim in the pristine clear pools.
Our Magical Retreat Cottage is perfect for couples or families seeking to recharge amidst nature. As evening falls, take a stroll under a canopy of stars and then cozy up to the beautiful gas fireplace with a good book. First ignore my rating on skining. I was not there to ski and it was not ski season. VRBO forced a rating of the skiing experience to procede with the review. This is a great property as noted in all the other reviews. A beautiful relaxing location. The cottage was well stocked including a complimentary box of pancake mix and Vermont maple syrup. Communication from the owner was excellent. On a rainy day he texted indoor activites in the area. This is the place we will stay if in the area again.

We enjoyed our stay. Being only 15 minutes from places to eat, we had total privacy and quiet. The surrounding forest and nearby river are great and make you feel like you have escaped somewhere.
Plenty of room for a family of four with a loft and a private room. Living space was nicely setup.
If you want to prep your own meals during a stay, this place has all that you would need. Coffee maker, grinder, and some coffee were there. A dishwasher was excellent. A washer and drier on site make it nice in case you need to get some clean clothes back in circulation. Towels were on site already.
The propane fireplace was a nice touch and produced great heat when needed.
Communication with the host was great. We didn't need anything during our stay, but it was clear there was support if we needed it.
We went skiing for five days and the size of this cottage made it possible to keep our stuff organized, dry, and ready for the next day.
