Imagine opening your eyes in the morning and finding yourself right in the middle of Laboe Harbor.
The fresh sea breeze blows gently toward you, while outside the soft clatter of the ropes and the gentle lapping of the water set the romantic harbor scene. The sun slowly rises over the Kiel Fjord, and you know: This is exactly where your perfect vacation begins. Welcome to the houseboat “Ankerplatz,” your maritime retreat with a special charm.

You can easily reach the houseboat via a short dock. Spanning 50 m², you’ll find tastefully furnished accommodations that combine maritime charm with modern comforts. The open-concept living and dining area is bright and inviting, thanks to the large panoramic windows that make you feel as if you’re floating right on the water. The cozy seating area invites you to relax—whether with a book, a glass of wine, or simply to watch the sailboats glide by. Open the sliding doors to the sun deck at the bow and enjoy the fresh breeze. To ensure you’re always comfortable, blackout pleated blinds and an infrared heater provide warmth and privacy—no matter whether it’s summer or winter.

A special highlight is the spacious panoramic deck, which you can reach via a small staircase. Furnished with comfortable lounge furniture, it offers a 360° view of the fjord and the harbor. Whether for breakfast in the morning sun, sunbathing, or relaxing in the evening—here you can experience the most beautiful moments right on the water.

The houseboat also features a bedroom with a comfortable double bed where you can truly unwind. The modern bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink is both practical and stylish. And the best part? On board, there’s a private sauna where you can truly unwind after a day at the beach or a trip to Laboe.

Laboe itself is right on your doorstep—literally. Just a few steps separate you from the sandy beach, which is especially well-suited for families thanks to its shallow swimming areas. Numerous restaurants, cafés, and shops invite you to stroll around and indulge in some fine dining. If you’re in the mood for some activity, there are plenty of opportunities for water sports or exciting excursions along the coast.

And now, brand new: Pets are also warmly welcome on the “Ankerplatz” houseboat.
This makes it the only houseboat in Laboe where your four-legged companion is allowed on board. A real plus for anyone who doesn’t want to plan a vacation without their dog.

The “Ankerplatz” houseboat is much more than just a place to stay—it’s an experience.
