A farm setting located 8 miles North on State Highway 7 outside of Ortonville, MN next to Big Stone Lake State Park. Since it’s so close to the State Park, it gives perfect access to the center of beautiful Big Stone Lake for either launching your boat or swimming on their public beach. It’s a great place to stay if you want to hunt, fish, watch wildlife, or just get away to relax. The farm setting is also in a great location to host family reunions. We can sleep 7 people. This is our fourth time there. The upkeep on the actual property is failing. Very nice place to stay, has all the comfort we need. Hand soap, dish towels, dish soap, and propane. None of that was there. Could be an oversight. We really like the place, just curious if someone else is managing it or it has gone to a corporate management company. The surrounding area is very overgrown. Garage could be cleaned up. It rained, would have been nice to pull the boat in.
The deer, pheasants were great. We do miss seeing the chickens. The property is needing attention. We like staying there . Thank you.
