A beautiful log home apartment in the woods. A tranquil, peaceful and private getaway in a safe area. Also handicap accessibility. A short distance from Lake Michigan with spectacular views of the Mackinac Bridge, islands and wildlife. Near Sand Bay, a sandy beach for swimming and kayaking. Many tourist attractions: Mackinac Island, Tahquamenon Falls, Sault Locks, forts and museums.
I have lived in Saint Ignace all my life - my roots here go back to 1885. My family are some of the first settlers in this quaint city. I LIVE ON SITE. My home is divided with private entrance for visitors. No shared space. Enjoy my beautiful island flower garden with pond and lighthouse and the train garden. Wildlife including deer and even a moose have stopped by for a visit. Truly a tranquil romantic paradise!
For those with allergies - rest assured that there has never been a pet inside the log home apartment.
Electric heat, air conditioning and air filtering system. There are no fragrances.
Well water and Culligan's reverse osmosis water filtering system.
Free and sensitive detergents.

Our first time to Michigan. Log home is beautiful, clean, close to attractions we wanted to see on our bucket list. Place is what was described, love her gardens. Wonderful host, comforting she lives on site. Let us use her golf cart to go down to the water and take in the breathtaking view of Mackinac Bridge and Lake Michigan. A quiet place in paradise. So glad I found this place. Highly recommend!

Property and house were gorgeous. Around block from Lake Superior with fabulous view of mighty Mac! Mary was fabulous host. She even let us use her golf cart to take 2 rides on lakeshore. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return.

One of the best VRBOs I have stayed at. Wonderful host. Property was clean and had beautiful gardens. Highly recommend.

This was the perfect place! Beautiful cabin in a beautiful wooded area, very clean, everything we needed. The hostess lives on site, which is comforting. We had agreat time, very close to the docks and the casino, also some terrific restaurantsin the area. Will definitely be back!
