The sunshed is delightful -- the windows over the bed mean a lovely view for falling asleep and waking. The outdoor shower and compost toilet were clean and the shower pressure was great. Heads up if you'll be arriving after dark -- signage is small and the lighting is minimal to non-existent. Also would have been great to have a flashlight in the shed (be sure to bring yours/have your phone charged and ready).

We so appreciated the friendly, informative farm tour, as well as the option to purchase a farm breakfast, which was hearty and delicious. The animals were friendly. Truly a memorable experience.

This was such an amazing stay, I highly recommend it. Check in was very easy and straight forward. The bathroom was right next to the shed and was very clean inside. We had a bit of a problem with the power, but they fixed it within 5 minutes of me texting them. We had a tour of the farm which was the highlight of my Maine trip. Wish we stayed longer, thank you so much for an amazing/unique stay!!

Since there was very little information on the listing, I thought I would clarify that this is a very rustic accommodation, more like camping than anything else. The cabin was very open to the elements, always filled with bugs (wasps, beetles, fishing spiders, etc.), and you should expect to be woken up at 4 by the rooster and other farm animals. The bed itself was cozy and the shed was charming in many ways. If this all is what you are expecting, you might have a great time. For people like us (weaklings i admit, corrupted by the comforts of city life!) we didn’t have a great time, and would have appreciated more information before committing.
