Close to beach and boardwalk, cages and ice cream and coffee shops. Quiet safe community.

We like staying at The Allenhurst when visiting family in NJ. Ocean Grove is pretty and quiet and off season it’s a great deal! The apartment we stayed in was small, yes, but clean and quiet and a great location for a reasonable price so we were happy! Also walking distance to Asbury Park restaurants!

We checked in 8/7 4pm not 8/6, checked out 8/9 around 10am. One main issue was no hand rail in shower and only one hand rail on steep staircase otherwise we enjoyed our time there

It is close to everything
The room was very clean
The bathroom could use bigger towel holders and some eye hooks to hang things
Although it served our purpose for a quick vacation it had minimal creature comforts
