Attic in the center of Bologna, a few steps from the Basilica di San Francesco and Piazza Maggiore.
The apartment, located on the third floor of a building without elevator, with an entrance under the characteristic Porticoes of Bologna, is characterized by high ceilings with exposed beams that make the environment warm and cozy. The entrance opens onto a small hallway with a closet and a coat hanger that leads to the living area, furnished with a double sofa bed, a coffee table, a dresser, a dining table and a fully-equipped kitchen. Directly connected to the open space, the bedroom features a queen-size bed and has access to a bathroom with shower.
Amenities such as washing machine, air conditioning and heating will be available in the accommodation.
*Please be informed that the city center is a limited-traffic zone, therefore we suggest leaving the car in one of the parkings and enjoying the old town on foot.
*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.

Its soul is in the medieval old town, one of the biggest in Europe, dotted in taverns, workshops and theaters, characterized by almost 40 km of porticoes. In the city center there is Piazza Maggiore, where the charm of medieval buildings is perfectly combined with modernity. Not to be missed are the Fountain of Neptune by Giambologna and the Medieval Towers, “Torre degli Asinelli” and “Torre della Garisenda”, part of a rich cultural heritage preserved in several museums, art galleries and religious buildings. It is allowed to leave Bologna only after having tried its gastronomic products, among which mortadella, tortellini, ragù alla bolognese while sipping famous DOC wines from the Bologna hills! Super great little spot, especially for the price. With just two of us, this was perfect. I think if we had more it would get a little cramped, but it's not bad at all for 2. The AC was a godsend in the hot summer months, so we were very grateful for that (and the fan). Super helpful host that got us in early and met us personally at the property to show us in and make sure we had everything. Great location, around a 15-20 min walk to main areas we were headed to, and very close to a big bus stop. 25 min walk from Bologna Centrale, but it didn't feel that far (even with suitcases in hand). Definitely recommend!

Overall our stay was okay. Not well set up if you’d like to cook, minimal cookware/utensils, no dishcloths or food basics. The shower head was broken, and the shower drain was clogged — though they were responsive and the drain was fixed the following day. The interior of the washing machine was quite dirty which was too bad. Very bright, so bring eye masks. It was comfortable enough for the cost, however a few minor fixes would make a big difference.
