Relax in the beautiful Lübeck Bay, situated right next to the forest and just 750 meters from the beach. Kellenhusen has plenty to offer dog lovers. There are 3 dog-friendly beaches and an off-leash area just 300 meters away, right in the forest. You can take your partner, children, or dog on beautiful walks through the forest or along the water’s edge or beach. Pure relaxation.

The small vacation complex “Am Walde” (consisting of 10 houses and 6 apartments) also features its own dog playground (a 1.25-meter-high electric fence with toys and a slalom course) and, of course, a children’s playground, so that both two-legged and four-legged friends can have fun and relax.

Our tiny “Wellness Chalets” date back to the wonderful 1970s and were refurbished in 2020/2021 with new furniture, a kitchen, TVs, a hot tub, a wood-burning stove, an infrared sauna, and much more. They feature one bedroom with a double box-spring bed (1.6 x 2.0 m sleeping area) and another bedroom with a single box-spring bed (80 x 200 cm). This second bedroom also features an infrared cabin, which is perfect for your private wellness experience (therefore, no closet or dresser is provided). A cozy living room with a new kitchen and a warm wood-burning stove, along with a charming bathroom with a shower, round out your vacation retreat.
Each house has its own terrace and patio furniture. You’re welcome to bring your dog, but leashes are required to ensure everyone’s safety. Another highlight is, of course, our outdoor hot tub in your garden, which you can use privately.

You can also rent bicycles and SUPs (stand-up paddleboards) from us (subject to availability).
