Conveniently located just a 15-minute walk from the Virginia Square metro (with easy access to all that Washington DC has to offer!), Clarendon, and Ballston shops, as well as vibrant nightlife, this enchanting abode offers the best of both worlds: a serene sanctuary and city excitement, all in one. An amazing kitchen, in-unit washer/dryer, patio, and deck in a shady backyard, plenty of on-street parking and free Wifi complete the package for a perfect urban retreat.

This place was fantastic. It had all of the things we might’ve needed and was so clean and beautifully done. We felt very at home here while we traveled about the area. It was a lovely place to come back to after a long day of tours. The city and shopping is really nice also. Also the yard is lovely… so many beautiful birds around it so I had some lovely mornings outside as well. Would definitely stay again.

This place was amazing. Quiet and comfortable. Close to the metro. The hosts were great communicators. Would highly recommended. Hoping to return next year.

This was our second stay here, since we came last fall during the government shutdown. This time we got to visit and see EVERYTHING we came for, and this cottage could not have been a better base for us. The proximity to the Metro was one of the key factors in our choice the first time, but this return visit was a no-brainer. Such a comfortable place, with everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. Having two bathrooms was great. Our hosts did a great job of preparing a wonderful place to stay. Thank you!
