This property was a great place to relax away from the crowds and noise. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again.

Great location! We spent time in Banff and Canmore. Some deep cleaning needs to be done. Example: fan in upstairs bathroom is filthy.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. New Renovation done to the entire house. Come and enjoy the cozy 2-storey chalet with private entrance. Located in the heart of the beautiful Rocky Mountains; 13 minutes from Banff; 6 minutes from Canmore. 2 Queen Beds, and a sofa-bed for 6 people sleep. Two full bathrooms: one in each floor. A fully equipped kitchen, in-suite laundry, high speed internet and TVs.

Listing this place as Banff Gate is nothing short of faulty advertising. There is a Banff Gate resort, but this isn’t it. Aside from the place looking nothing like the listing, it does NOT have an indoor pool, the hot tub is out of order, no basketball court, the bbq is communal and the parking is limited. The main reasons I chose this rental. One of our bath towels had feces stains, one of the water glasses had cracks in it and the bathroom fan vents are completely blocked. It’s nice to be out of the town of Banff or Canmore for your nights, but this listed should NOT be allowed to be called Banff Gate, because it’s not and misleads people. Having a balcony was truly a treat though.
