Rebuilt preserving the original design of the watermill, its interior, simple yet full of soul, reflects the lifestyle of its owners and the spirit in which it was created, a call to environmental sustainability, where reuse and recycling are in perfect harmony with comfort.
Integrated into the nature reserve, in a rural area bordering the Atlantic coast with fantastic beaches (Baleal, Peniche, Foz do Arelho, Areia Branca) and a sea full of sporting opportunities and deserted beaches for those seeking maximum tranquility.
Located in the heart of the Roto Valley, a natural gorge nestled between the Cesaredas Plateau and the Picoto Mountain, where a small stream flows, a tributary of the Rio Real, and where an unparalleled collection of natural, historical and cultural heritage is concentrated. In addition to its unique natural beauty, the Valley connects the Cesaredas Plateau and the Caldas da Rainha Tifonic Valley, two relics of the natural heritage of the West region.
More than just a tourist spot, Vale d'Azenha is a place for contemplation, made of silences, scents, and unforgettable moments.
The property boasts 4,000 m2 of wooded area, including a garden where hammocks invite relaxation. The house has 6 bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, a living room with a large fireplace, a dining room, and a snooker area with a wood-burning stove.
The rooms have a television, air conditioning, and a minibar.
The master bedroom has a large jacuzzi in the center of the room.
The kitchen is fully equipped.

We had a very nice time in this large, rustic style property. The charming medieval town of Obidos is a short drive away, as are several beaches, with options good for surfing or also quieter bays. The owners responded rapidly to our queries but otherwise left us alone, and there are several large supermarkets a short drive away. The only slight complaint I have is the size of the pool - if you plan on lots of pool time then make sure you search Google Images of the name of the property rather than relying on the picture used to market it on Vrbo.
