Our English basement apartment in the heart of Capitol Hill is a great place to stay while visiting D.C. The apartment is walking distance to the Capitol (and Library of Congress, Botanic Garden, etc.), wonderful parks (including Stanton Park), and excellent restaurants of Eastern Market/Barracks Row and H Street.
Three bedrooms (2 full beds and one twin bed); 1.5 bathrooms; open kitchen/living room. Private entrance from the alley. Easy street parking.

Perfect home away from while visiting the nations capital. Very clean and organized. Great location. The host was very quick to respond to any questions about the house and DC.

The property was perfect for our small school group trip to DC. The apartment was clean, and had all the amenities we needed. The neighborhood was quiet, and safe, and easily walkable.

The space was fine. Its furnishings are vey minimal, and the beds are “cheap”. It’s also a basement apartment that can only be accessed through the back alley. The kitchen/greatroom was adequately furnished with basic kitchen dishes and cookware. The space did have a slight musty odor.
